So I am only 5 dpo and I read some where you can use a opk to detect hcg....so being the impatient person that I am and couldn't wait until I got home to take a IC hpt I used a opk from my stash here at work!! its positive right? and now I have my hopes up that I may be pregnant!

my opk was postive the day my period was due thats how i knew i was pregnat but got a hpt straight away 2 b 100 percent

Hee hee ur as bad as me....I'm 13 weeks and still pee on the ov sticks....had positive results on every one since getting bfp!! Soooooo.....get a test! Or wait to be late then test would be the sensible thing to say as it may be too early....if u can wait that is!x

Yes! I have loads of IC hpt but their all at home I'm at work so I plan on testing tomorrow with fmu!! I probably shouldn't because its way too soon!

wow that test is defo detecting something, but its super early. I tried an OPK at about 8DPO and got negative.

BUT that test result is positive. 100% so keeping everything crossed for you!! GOOD LUCK! EEEK! XX

The first test I tried was an OPK about 3 or 4 days before AF was due, and that was positive.

Nah still poas with the cheapies. I'm pretty sure I'm out though, I have no symptoms and my cp is getting lower and hard
