I have never, ever felt so sick in my whole life.

Please girls, there's got to something I can do?
I'm scared I'll be admitted to hospital if this keeps up! I can't keep anything down!

Any tips? Hints? Anything?

Awww hun  I had really bad sickness too :(

Look up hyperemesis on google, I'd get you the link but I'm on my phone :dohh: there'll be a checklist for dehydration etc, if you're worried go to A+E though hun xxx

Oh Leah, it's the lack of fluids I am worried about for you, as that can be dangerous, go and see you GP, maybee they can give you some anti sickness medication to get you back on your feet

Hope you get some help XJJ

only thing i can think of is that in my worst stage i had to eat Very little and Very Often, i would literally have a grape or 2 every 15 mins or so and keep sipping little bits of juice, also drank ginger tea *hugs* hope it passes soon xxx

Try fizzy mineral water, ice cold. I liked nothing but loved this xx

Can totally sympathise, i'm being sick every day at the moment, although can keep some food down later at night. Keep getting plenty fluids.

Oh my god I'm so glad I'm not the only one!! I have had it for about 7 weeks now, and I'm almost 12 weeks and it has eased up so much! Seriously I was the same, thought I was dying and everything, and I hated Ginger biscuits and stuff so I literally stuck it out. I know it's torture, and you can go gp and getsomething for it apparently, but seriously I had exactly the same! It's easing up a lot for me now. So I wish you all the luck and all the non sick feelings because I can so relate to you! Hope your ok xxxx

peppermints and ginger biscuits and lots of water milk and anything non fizzy was good for me. I only had about 3 weeks of feeling sick mainly cause of the milk and biscuits and that was taking nasty horrible anti biotics too :)

Oh Sol! I just managed to eat [and so far, keep down!] a few fish fingers, thanks to a lovely minty piece of gum!
I think I've found the solution - let's hope it keeps working!

i hope you are feeling better this morning. Ive beenhaving terrible sickness (but only sick a handfull of times) from prob week 6 to just last week so i do understand how you feeling. take it easy and keep your fluids up. I know is prob lastthing you thinking of but i found a small walk in the fresh air really helps. xx

I cant keep any food down so have been having Nesquik with milk wen I feel hungry, that seems to work until I can eat a meal in the evening.

I'm the same at the moment Heulyn - 7 and a half weeks pregnant and can't keep a thing down, not even water. Tried all the traditional remedies like ginger, mint etc but nothing working. Phoned the doctor as was worried about getting dehydrated but got fobbed off - it was like 'oh its your first pregnancy I see...' as if I was just a paranoid first timer! Expected to get a bit of morning sickness but not to throw up all day every day like this :0(

I give up! I couldnt event keep milkshake down today.

i thought mine had eased up, but today is not good so far! grr i hope it does go. i must say i definately feel better in myself but im struggling to cope with my head down the toilet on a regular basis. hope there is an end to it! x

i had bad sickness the whole 9 months and gp gave me tablets to take they werre AMAZING - i was on verge of being admitted to - cyclizine-valoid 50 mg xxx

Lisa, when I was in hospital they had me on an IV of that cylizine stuff, it did work, so I'll ask the midwife when I see her next week.
Today hasn't been so bad, OH made me tea and dry toast in bed, and we had a little walk in town, and now I'm hungry as a horse!
I've been chewing gum and eating Fox's Glacier mints to help with the sickness, and it's worked!

Is it possible that taking too high a dose of Folic Acid could make you sick? Because I found that taking the lower usual dose ones of 400ug makes me less sick than taking the higher dose of 5mg.
When I take the 5mg ones, they're yellow, and guess what colour I was throwing up! [sorry for the tmi!]
But any time I've taken the lower dose, I've not been half as queasy!

you only actually need 400 micrograms ... above that wont do you harm but i think it doesnt do anything good or bad so take the lower dose if it agrees better... i was allowed 3 cyclizine a day but i found if i took it in the morning as soon as i got up it usually did alll day but i carried them with me when i felt queasy they work pretty much instant... here we just ring our gp's surgery and request over phone and gp signs dont know how it works with yous but you should try ringing gp and getting a script over phone as u dont wanna get dehydrated xxx

i just realised your also from n.i. so u def shud be able to request prescription over phone if you know what you need doc will verify if he agrees and ring u if not ?? xx

Oh, that's good to know! Thanks, I'll do that.

Although, I went to the doc's about having thrush, and she prescribed me a pessary - the one that says DO NOT use in early pregancy!! I was like.. well I'll be damned if I'm using THAT!
So I might just wait to see if the midwife can as for it, as at least she knows what she's doing!!
