should convicted paedophiles be exterminated?

i was watching Jeremy Kyle today and there was a paedophile on talking about his ''rehabilitation''. He more or less said he was sorry for raping his 6 year old daughter but he wanted to be free to get on with his own life now He says it is wrong for the authorities to tell relevant persons of his conviction. He says he has served three years in jail so he has done his time and should be left alone.

There were threee victims of paedophiles as guests also who told stories of their abuse (one from the age of 3) and said that their sentence is life and they cannot get on with their lives becasue of it. One man said although he is a 47 year old man he felt trapped as the little 12 year old boy who was abused
it made me cry.

I have always thought and feel more strongly after watching that that convicted paedophiles should be exterminated from the face of the earth. They are a waste of space. I do not beleieve that they can be rehabilitated at all and that they will reoffend reoffend and reoffend.
Who could trust a person who has raped a child??????? would you share your seat on a bus with one?? or have a drink in a pub with one?? Even if they claimed to have been '''rehabilitated''???

I completey agree that peadophiles cannot be rehabiltated. How can you teach someone not to want to have sex with children? I not sure about exterminated, I would have to give it more thought But there is definately NO place for them in society and they should NOT be free to live their lives.

I dont think they shud be exterminated. Yeah its horrible what they do and i dont understand how anyone could do anythin of that nature to a kid, its discustin. But they get the time in prison for a reason. When they come out they should be able to get on with their lifes. I do think that people should be told about them and that they are livin in the area because if people know then they can keep young children away from them to stop them reoffendin in future.
I think they should (not sure if they do) get intensive councillin, assessin etc before they come out so that they can see if they are likley to reoffend.
Its the same as when a murderer comes out of prison, they can move on with their life so i think that pedophiles should be alowed to do the same.

Island prison suits me fine too - my worry with any type of death penalty is always a mistaken conviction. One innocent person killed is one too many and that always worries me. I see no problem with lifetime imprisonment and no visits, no luxuries, make them grow their own food and no contact with warders etc - all can be done with CCTV.

No im a figure of ur imagination... course im real. I just dont think that theres any point killin em, theres no point, its the easy way out.
Its wrong what they do but so is murderin someone, yeah they have left someones life in tatters but u cant just go round killin someone because they done somethin bad. They should have the chance to make themself a better person. One day they could be someone who other ex-offenders go and talk to about what they've done and be able to help them etc

i think its not even in the same category as murder to be honest.
doing something bad is robbing an old lady coz you need a heroin fix.

i watched a show ages ago and it made me look at sex offenders in a different light

ok they are fukers and they are messed up

but 1 lad he was about my age (22) he was in the army and after a serious head injury he changed all he thought about was sex 24/7 he couldnt help him self and would touch girls up as they walked by

he hated himself for this and it was a mental illness

but after alot of work he can now control it

myself - if i knew a peado was in my street i would hate him they ruin lives and they are just twisted, but mental ilness can be treated so i imagine some one who is wired up wrong and likes kids can be too
