Oh no there's no where you could go for a private scan today? Although you might not want to pay out given that you should hopefully have a scan soon xxx

I dont think Id have taken no for an answer, Id have prob try order one if possible, or can get one cheap enough.

How crap. I hope they manage to slot you in soon.

Although, being on the other side, my consultant had to fly to india for a fam emergency drop of a hat and I had to cancel 4 days worth of clinics with no dates to book into because we didnt know when hed be back.

Not much consolation, but I feel for the admin people too, I imagine they have a full day or more to cancel of loads of ladies expecting a 12 week scan.

Hope they can see you soon.

Hi everyone,

I had my scan this morning! Everything went well nice strong heartbeat too! Baby was having a drama moment with its hand up at the forehead for its picture - haha! It's obviously very hard work this whole growing business!

Had scan this morning. One happy, comfy baby. Put three days ahead so will be 14 weeks on Wednesday. Will be posting on facebook tonight. Hope you are all well? Lxx

Should have posted earlier but I've been too busy celebrating!!!
They called me back to see me at 12.30!!! All is well with the bean.
Edd now 21st Sept not 20th.

I'm so happy and grateful that they squeezed me in.

Will post a pic when I work out how to reduce the file size on my phone.

Congrats to everyone else who had a scan today too xx

If you try editing the photo and physically cropping the sides n top n save as a new file it should work.

Thanks both. It's soooo exciting!!!
So weird but since the weekend I've been getting worse with sickness... Not sure if it was stress of the scan ? But felt worst ever this morning. Wonder if I'm like you RM where now it's confirmed my body is gonna give me all the symptoms. Not actually been sick but got to that watery mouth stage where you're just about to. Also got mega headaches... Urghhhh
Still well happy though cos it will be worth it

Fantastic scan pictures girls it is so lovely to see

Not sure why my scans look so far away when others look so close, anyways I have a energetic little one it was waving it arms and everything cutest thing ever! 21 week scan 1st week of may and I also have a scan 11 april to do some testing.

Not sure if anyone else felt like this but when I saw the babies little face where the eye sockets, nose is etc I seen my OH lol and when I saw the baby from underneath OMG it has my OH legs he is 6ft 7 lol and this baby looked to have long legs!
