***September 2016 Mummies***

I know how you feel Karen, mine is on Thursday and I'm getting nervous xx

Yeh I know what you mean Karen. Hopefully the time will go quick xxx

It helps to have other worry warts to share it with lol
Husband says I was snoring sooooo bad last night he kept pushing me to lie on my side but I wasn't for budging! Can certainly feel it this morning, my sinuses are killing me now and full of gunk making me wretch terribly.
Starting to feel like I've done 100 sit ups as well now and I've got spots IN my ears ffs what's that all about?!!
Worked a 13 hour shift yesterday and feel like I'm dying today but need to muster up the energy to do a food shop ..... I could cry :-(

Eesh 13 hours isn't fun - what is it you do?

I've been snoring loads too - still got this virus that I can't seem to shift. And ditto on the spots although they haven't migrated into my ear yet. Got a massive one on my forehead though that my oh-so-kind husband has started calling Alan. He thinks he's hilarious.
Xxx

Haha that's so funny Naomi!!
I'm a paediatric nurse :-)

Haha don't encourage him ;-)

Ah great job, but tough with the shifts when you're pregnant. Have you let them know? Xxx

Thought Id best keep a hover over this side, if I go early this time, good chance I could be a September mummy.

Im due very early October, but I will be floating ;)

Hope your all doing well :D

xxxx

Hey love

Yeah ok, just a bit tired with work etc being a bit full on atm, recently had a role move. Quite sleepy in the evenings, starving by teatime and a bit gaggy but ok so far.

How are you getting on?

xxxx

Ah well hope the work stress dies down a bit soon. I'm the same at the moment with the work stuff so thinking of telling my manager that I'm pg so she'll ease up a bit.
I was getting nausea every minute of the day for a week or two but it's eased more now and only seem to get it at certain points. Mainly just tired, spotty and emotional atm haha.
Xxx

I'm the ward sister so pretty much look after myself (and everyone else lol) with risks etc but I have let my line manager know xx

I cried at Rise along 2 last night, a fucking cop comedy. Who does that? :|

My manager is a witch, she says my MC was perhaps a blessing in disguise. So Im dreading telling her. Im telling the work girls after my scan at 8w though so I can chillax with lifting, climbing on ladders and desks etc..

Hopefully you skip the sickness bug and glide nicely into tri2 with a few gags

Omg that's disgusting!!! Did you report her?! That's so completely out of order :-( I don't think my work will be too happy but they wouldn't say they weren't - not to my face anyway!

And haha I've cried at the most ridiculous things - was watching princess and the frog with my dd yesterday for the fourth time in 4 days and have cried hard every single time when the little bug dies and becomes a star. Also cried this morning because I couldn't find a clean pair of socks.

Yep hopefully we will both skip the actual puking! I was quite sick last time around.

Ah that's good, was she/he ok with it? Will you be able to go onto light duties/shorter shifts later on? Xxx

Yeah she's delighted as she knows my history, been really good with me and said just to do what I need to do and she'll accommodate. I only do the 13 hour shift every fortnight when I'm the duty manager for the hospital, otherwise I work 7-5 4 days a week so it's fine really. It's just a long day because I've got an hours commute either side as well.

Been my food shopping and now just having a wee relax with a packet of Jacobs cracker crisps and a cup of tea before making a pot of soup xx

Hello lovely mummies!

I am 7 weeks pregnant due 26th September...
Only having headaches and slight nausea
No sickness yet, but didn't hit me till 14 weeks with my daughter

Good luck to you all :) xx

Nooo, at the time my head was up its arse, and now well theres no point. But any snide comments this pregnancy will be noted. I hate bitchiness, just stop being a shit bag and moan to my face so I can tell you to your face its gpt F all to do with you!! (Can u tell im prepared lol)

Ok you win, Ive not cried in frustration yet. Just a softie sometimes..

Me too, for 9m. I thought it was 5w I was sick before, it was from like 8w on, so Ive hopefully atleast got 2 weeks puke free.

You having an early scan? Or had one? Xxx

Hi girls happy sunday!! :)

Hate when I type something and it goes poof lol anyone else have baby brain I had a bad memory before but now it is ridiculous :wall2:

naomi...were you able to see much on the scan? We have our's saturday scared but excited!!

scn....Harmony test sounds amazing, little expensive though best of luck with it, even if I could afford it I don't think it is offered here only heard off it in your post.

Midwife booking in appointment on thurday do you girls know if we will get the scan dates then or will it be in the post?

It's different depending on where you are. In Glasgow we phone a central booking number when we know we are pregnant and you get your booking in appointment and 12 week scan date there and then.

You should be able to see something great at your scan as you'll be 9+ weeks by then, this is mine at 7+3
