Yep I have an anterior placenta but I had exactly the same with my daughter and felt her kicking about 16.5weeks do thought with this being my second I would have felt something by now!

Is it normally 32 week scan next? If so, why might they rescan at 28 weeks?

I had mental dreams last night. I had a dream that I was trying to make formula milk and it kept going wrong (even though I plan on breastfeeding). The bottle kept exploding, or it was the wrong consistency, or something else and it as taking hours and really stressing me out and I was all alone and the baby was hungry.

After this, I had a dream that at my scan on Monday, I find out that my baby boy is a girl!

Claire, ah a girl guess, that evens the odds then Im happy with either really, I wanted a girl more due to a boy heavy family, but have seen so many cute boys recently how could I be unhappy with that!
Feeling better today thanks, think it was just a bout of morning sickness, apparently can happen around now as the baby has a growth spurt which can make you feel quite crappy.

Ha Soph, weird dreams are pretty common in pregnancy I hear, Ive been having some crazy ones too!

Crackers – Ah yes I know what you mean! My Sister has got a boy and is due in June and we are both sure she is having a boy..Im sure Im having a boy too! But would be nice for one of us to have a Girlie My Nephew is such a handful and my Parents find him so exhausting when they have him so they are praying one of us has a Girl as they think Girls are calmer ha!
Oh that’s annoying that your morning sickness seems to have made a return, Hope it doesn’t last too long..xx

Wow Nic your scan pics are just amazing, so so clear. Can't wait for mine next thursday.

I'm so bored tonight, the in laws are here and no one is talking, and DH has put some crap on tv for him and his dad to watch. Just want to go up to bed and watch TV by myself. Also baby usually has good wriggle when I lay flat and I love holding my bump feeling for movements.

I was trying to talk at dinner about staying team yellow and got no baby talk or response back whatsoever from dh or the in laws. Just feeling blah and want to let baby know I care even of no one else does. xx

Kanga how rubbish they didnt want to talk baby stuff! Whats wrong with some people eh! Its not like its a random baby, its their grand child!!
Ahh Im the same, when I lie down the baby has a right wriggle and dance, and I love feeling it. Just been tapping my belly and waiting for it to kick, then doing it again. So fun!
It just gave me one hell of a wallop though, quite painful! Not looking forward to having kicks like that all day long...

Morning all! Very excited-it's hubby's brothers wedding today and he is best man! So happy for my brother and (nearly) sister in law and can't wait to get all dressed up and spend a lovely day with family and friends!

Becky sounds a lovely day! I'm going pram looking with my mum, not going to buy anything but looking forward to looking! Then off into manchester for tea with OH and then to the theatre to see Rock of ages, cinema and roast tomorrow and school work and house work on Monday!

Im self employed too Vee... but still counting down the days till I can go on maternity leave!
The work I've been doing on a freelance basis wont be there for me to return to either, bit worried about the future, but super excited about the bundle of babyness on its way.

I guess for you though there is the worry of covering shop costs. Will you be getting someone in to cover you?? x

baby shopping is so fun vicky! i bought a new changing mat and a spiderman sleepsuit last night and even that made me happy .. not far from me, manchester.

ah i've only been back to work 8 weeks and i can't wait to be off again . i bet it's hard work being self employed in situations like this xxx
