Happy 20 weeks Sazzle!
Happy belated 20 weeks for yesterday to me and bump buddy Crackers! Half way - eek!

Welcome Amy and congrats on your scan and team pink - just saw your other thread

Bleurgh was up in the night with a dicky tummy, thought it would have gone by today but still feeling at odds. Im never sick so im terrible when somethings up! Just so full of self pity haha.
On the positive side, have been reading that the baby is now touching its face all the time as it explores new sensations of being able to feel it, thought that was so cute, imagining it in there being really amazed by its own face. Aparently its pulling on its ambilical cord too and generally exploring its surroundings. Awwwww!

For those who have had their 20 week scan or have a date for it, how much notice did you get? I am 18+3 and not had an appointment yet :(
Excited about seeing little one again!! X

i got my scan date when i was at my 12 week! x

Kathy82, I’d definitely ring, I got my 20 week appointment when I was about 10 weeks!

Hi Amylouise, congrats on your pink bump!

Happy half way to all the Ladies that are 20 weeks today, exciting!

Climbingrose sorry you are feeling poorly, stomach upsets are horrible aren’t they :( hope you feel better soon..
Ah that’s lovely isn’t it! Nice to hear how they are developing!
x

Hi girls hope your all ok. I've been AWOL but my daughter at uni was unwell so I hopped on a train for some mummy hugs. She cried when she see me cos I didn't el her I was coming lol. Staying here till Friday. Can't believe it's one week till v day I'm still so nervous xxx

Had my consultation this morning. Babies bowel is echogenic with added swelling. Having to have bloods done and go back for more scans through the pregnancy... that's the short version. Hoping it all clears up on its own before my next scan.

Oh Gemima, what does that mean then? Is it something that can go on its own? xx

Thanks Clare, feeling a bit better. but generally just not 'right', back from work now, and sure a little lie down will help :)

Gemima, sorry to hear that, sure it must be making you worry lots, I've just googled it, and lots of people are saying its often harmless and can go away. I know you are probably guna worry, I know I would be a wreck, I was shitting it going for the scan just thinking if they said ANYTHING I would be in pieces. Sure it'll clear itself up though, and glad they are looking after you. Big hugs to you xxx

Lilmiss, that was lovely of you to do! Doubt my mum would've done the same haha. xx

Ah glad you are home and feeling a bit better..Always helps to be at home doesn't it! Oh yes a little lie down should definitely help :-) x

I haven't been around much on here for a while, I've been reading most days but rarely have chance to post. It's so lovely to see so many scans and hear how well everyone's doing :-)
I had a scary moment last night on my way home from work - I managed to drive into the back of someone :-/ luckily I was going dead slow so not too much damage done to either car. My OH and mum were in a panic wanting me to get checked out by midwives tho. I really didn't see the need as I was going so slow and it was such a small bump, but I gave the midwife a quick ring just to reassure mum if nothing else. Thankfully everything seems fine with baby :-) really scared me thinking what could have happened tho, makes me so thankful to have a healthy baby in there :-) xxx

Lilmiss, that was lovely of you to do! Doubt my mum would've done the same haha. xx

We are so close and I can't help myself. She needed me. Oh says it's me that needs her but the look on her face said it all. She said thank you so many times and was like I can't believe you did that. 3 and a half hours on a train and worth every minute for that look. I hid behind the door and jumped out on her haha xxx

Oh Jenni you poor thing, that must have really shaken you up.. Things like that are so horrible aren’t they..
So pleased all is ok with Bubba x

definitely clare.. roll on.

gemima glad to hear all went well other than that... hope everything goes okay :(

i had headaches first tri but wore off now..

rebekah, i'd booked my 20 week scan at my 12 week one?

happy 20 weeks sazzle.. good luck tomorrow with your scan.. and good luck not finding out lol!

hi amylouise welcome to the thread, happy 20 weeks and congrats on team pink!

happy 20 weeks becky, crackers, sorry i always miss these as can't see tickers. good luck tomorrow!

climbingrose, hope you're feeling better now?! sorry you're not feeling too great.

lilmiss that's so sweet. hope she feels better soon!

aww sarahlouise, love when they do stuff like that so cute..

oh jenni, sorry to hear you had a bump! glad everything was alright though.

i slipped up to a friend at work that baby was a boy, i was gutted, then i said his name twice without even realising! i was nearly crying lol. i didn't want to tell anyone :( luckily it was the best person i could possibly have slipped up to but i was still gutted..
then i came home and had a cry about how naughty my dog is and how worried i am he won't calm down and we'll have to get rid of him..

oh has just bought a football sticker book! and spent £20 on fourty (yes) packs of stickers  what a child!!

ahh i'm sleepy glad tomorrow is my last working day before a four day weekend yaaaaay! xx

In bed in my PJ's now Nic, just waiting for OH to get home and pamper me as im still feeling under the weather! Was meant to be going out for a toby carvery with my mate tonight but thats out the window with this unsettled tummy :(
Oh no! Gutted about the slip up! Why have you chosen to keep the sex a secret? Do you just like having something special that only you and OH know about? I think I'd be the same if I knew the sex, but would slip up allll the time!!
Sorry your dogs being so naughty! Im a terrible dog owner, too selfish for them. Youre doing better than me! xx

pjs sounds great, i'm sat in comfies too! ph bless you :( carvery sounds sooo good as well!

mixture of reasons really, first pregnancy everybody knew ella was a girl and her name so there was no suprises when she arrived - except the biggest one where she passed away :'( :/ - so kind of wanted the suprise at the end.. also i don't want anyone to bond or know anything about baby as horrible as that sounds, but just in case something happens to this one, everyone had kinda bonded with ella and bought her lots of things and yeah it just influenced us to keep it all a secret until the end.. yeah i do struggle i'l be honest!

i'm too selfish too, if i was by myself he'd be gone.. he's just chewed up hubbys bank card.. wonderful..

xxx

Nds - my DH got himself a World Cup sticker book the other day... No stickers yet... Last time he must have spent a fortune on stickers and starting doing 'swaps' with a few of his friends! - men!!

Hope you rascal dog settles down! We have two cats, happily quite placid - though as they have all our attention think they will be a bit jealous when LO arrives!!

Hope you feel better soon climbing rose - enjoy pamper xxx

that's what it is rebekah!! he bought fourty packs! 40! lol yep oh has got a pile of swaps ready for his mate.. deary me..

thankyou.. he's currently throwing a tantrum.. argh.

cats are so independant, i'm sure they will be fine lol! dogs on the other hand are also like bloody babies..
xx
