Send your love to Ellie(Poss upsetting sorry)**UPDATED PG2**

My bosses little girl Ellie was taken to hospital this afternoon.

She is a absolutely gorgeous little girl unfortunately she has a terminal illness that as far as they know is linked with the genetics of her Mum and her Dad. They had a little boy called Thomas who sadly died when he was 14months old but they were told by doctors that the chances are that if they were to have a little girl she wouldn't have the same problem. They don't actually have a name for what Ellie because it is so very rare she can't speak or walk and is tube fed as she can not swallow she needs 24hour care at all times.

She actually has a charity under her name so that they can raise enough money to build a haven for other terminally ill children so they and their parents can have a holiday. They have had to take Ellie to hospital this afternoon as she was having trouble with her breathing and was on oxygen last night. She was also ill over Christmas but she fought it off and has been doing well recently.

Please could everyone send her good thoughts and pray for her to get better soon she is such a beautiful little girl and her life has so much influence on others I have only known my boss for a very short time but she would do anything for anyone they are such a lovley familly.

I'm sorry if reading this has upset anyone it is a extremely rare condition that Ellie has so it would be very very very unlikely any of us will have to go through this. I just think she needs lots of prayers at this time and lots of thoughts being sent too her.

I know children with terminal illnesses can be a very upsetting subject for some people but I thought I'd just pop a quick comment on what we believe in case it helps anyone who is effected by this...
As upsetting as it is (and obviously it's only natural to greive after any death)...in my religion we believe that if a child dies, especially from an illness, then they are granted entry to heaven and spared the hardships of this life that they would have otherwise faced. We believe all children are born innocent and so will die as innocents until they reach an age of true understanding between right and wrong...because they will then be able to conciously choose to do wrong. We also believe the pain of suffering any illness cleanses you of some of your sins - we do not believe that you suffer both in this world and the hereafter if you're a good person. So both these facts combined means as sad as it is you can try and smile through your tears knowing (if you believe in the hereafter) that they will be granted a safe place

Thankyou everyone. I have just spoken to Julie and she has just got home from the hospital Ellie has got a chest infection. Which unfortunately can be quite a severe thing for her. But shes a little fighter and crossing fingers she will be okay. She may get worse before she gets better they have taken lots of samples to test and check over. But really there isn't much anyone can do other than hope and pray for the best.

I told Julie that I posted up on her and she is really greatfull for all the good wishes.xxx
