Scotch's mega test cycle

I'm doing so many tests this month and it looks really scary. Now af has arrived I have dates for most of them, just waiting for the call-back on the hsg.

So here's how my life looks until christmas...

Nice to see those dates though, I'm sure you'll be fine, a HSG is like a hysteroscopy it hurts a tiny bit like period pain when the fluid goes in and then it's fine.

CD2 and I'm pooing my pants. I just want to get this all over and done with. Another blood test tomorrow and I HATE needles

Was pretty sensible yesterday with af arriving but today I feel heartbroken. I really thought I was late

Actually blood test thurs. Just checked online and they only do mon, thurs and fri at the local hospital

Got the call back on the hsg. They told me I'll need it mon-wed next week but that the diary's not open yet so they can't book it. They can't guarantee they'll be able to fit me in either-they do a max of four a day but it depends what else is booked in xray. Fingers crossed as next af due just before christmas so don't know if they do them at all at that time of year

Ok, I got another call back from the hospital, HSG booked for tuesday next week. Such a relief as now I know we'll have all our results for the consultant appointment in january

I've updated my long list of things to do. Blood test tomorrow, I'm actually quite excited about ticking something off!

Glad you got your hsg booked in and didnt have to wait longer.

I know it all seems overwhelming but just think of it as getting all the crappy bits done now so that you can start the new year fresh xxxx

Today it's pork pie's turn. The jokes about it this morning were ready bad so I know he's nervous, both about giving the sample and to see if all his hard work has paid off. He has to make the sample at the hospital this time as it's a specialist unit in london so neither of us is really sure what to expect.

Good look pork pie! My hubby had to do his at the hospital on Wed, he was not impressed! He said the magazines we're v dodgy!!
