Scotch's mega test cycle

All fine. They couldn't see the ovaries properly so had to do an internal scan, but more importantly I got to wee before they did that which was somewhat of a relief.

She said everything looked fine to her, but with the usual statement that the consultant has to see it first, but that's good enough for me. Really looks like everything is going well on my side which gives us the best possible chances with treatment.

And something new - I've never been complimented on my lovely full bladder before!!!

Yay that's good news hun glad there wasn't any sign of any pesky pcos xx

Good luck scotch! hope it goes well. xxx

Good and bad girlies.

Firstly I have a clear dominant follicle and will probably ovulate in about a week so that seems good

Secondly I'm polycystic, which explains my cycles

Thirdly my fsh is high so I'm likely to have an early menopause like my mum did

None of it that much of a surprise and nothing that'll cause problems with the treatment we now know we'll have to have, but a shock to the system all the same

Man I need a hug

:hugs: :hugs: :hugs: xxxxxx sorry for your news but at least you know what you are dealing with now xxxxxx

I'm sorry to hear that Scotch, but yay at the dominent follicle :) sending you a massive  and lots of :dust: xxxx

Had some really mild cramps on my left side yesterday evening and wouldn't normally have paid any notice, but then remembered get saying the big follicle was on my left ovary so maybe the egg's ready or even on its way! The timing would be about right...

Feeling so sad at the moment. Christmas is coming and we didn't imagine we'd get to last christmas like this, let alone this christmas. Doing the same things we do every year, remembering getting excited that we'd be doing them pregnant, then it hurting that we weren't but it was only a matter of time, and here we are doing the same again with no idea whether it'll be the same next year. It's breaking my heart. I wish I could hibernate until the new year!
