Pork pie tried to tell me about the tv with some little videos on loop but he kept laughing too much at how surreal the whole thing was!

ok, chlamydia done...seemed like a silly one as I had it when offered as part of my smear about 2 years ago and I've been with no-one other than OH for 10 years, but I'd rather do everything than fight it...just so it doesn't come back and bite us on the arse.

My period finished on Friday afternoon and I'd had no spotting or anything but she said there was still quite a bit of blood so I may have to have it done again I was really hoping there wouldn't have to be any of that...but I need to call the doctor's surgery for the results in two weeks so if that's the case we'll know well before our consultation so it won't hold anything up.

I'm not doing very well really - day 21 four days early (not sure if I'll have to redo that) and now this. Better luck on Tuesday for the HSG I hope...

I'm so scared about the hsg after reading the hsg thread that I barely slept last night.

It's even more frustrating as there's no sign of anything being up with me and we've found out what's stopping us. I know they need to check these things before we can have ivf but I'm so frightened by all of it and just want to run away and hide...

Awww scotch you don't need to be scared about your HSG, it's honestly not that bad. The worse bit of pain lasts for a couple of minutes at the most, and it's just like bad period pains. But some people don't feel anything apparently, let's hope you're one of them!
I know you know this but it's just standard procedure, tick tick tick to check there's absolutely nothing else going on, that way you know the IVF will have the best possible chance.

Thanks. It wasn't so bad...uncomfortable, but the two girls doing it were really lovely and put me at my ease. All looks fine as expected which is the main thing

I've got period pain style cramps today, worse than yesterday. Is that normal?

Great news about the result Scotch, I wouldn't worry about the cramps but keep an eye out just in case of an infection, watery cm that smells a little strange os a symptom, I'm sure you'll be fine though.

The abstinence was killing me so we bd'd yest eve and that was quite sore. Didn't think about that in terms of infection but hadn't been told to hold off...

Chlamydia test worked, I don't need to have it done again all good results too.

Cramping from HSG has passed now as well

Glad all went well with your HSG and everything was fine
Did you have to have the chlamydia test before you were allowed the HSG? I've seen this mentioned a few times online and am waiting for CD1 to book my Hycosy and didn't have this mentioned to me bit worried they will ask when I go to book now and then I won't be allowed it.

No, we need both for our referral but it didn't state which order. They didn't ask about the chlamydia one at the hsg
