Hi Girls,

I think the diggi may be even more sensitive than 25miu as I got a positive when my blood test was 12miu.

xx

I was just wondering the best test to use again so thought I would bump this list of annie's back up :) xxx

and asdas are now also 15miu/ml.
poundland singles 20miu/mL
poundland small strips 25miu/mL

Crap. I'm after buying two boots digis today. It didn't say how sensitive it was on the box cos i looked. We don't have a tesco/morrisons/asda local. We are lucky to have a boots as it is!! I'll give one a go in the morning. FX. AF was due on Monday and still no sign, definitely think this is it though!!

Boots have buy one get one half price on pregnancy tests as the moment and their early test ones are on clearance as wll. Although at their prices they need some sort of offer. Includes Clear Blue as well

It still costs me £16.44 for a double digi and double value test, doesn't seem like much of an offer! Asda's regular prices are cheaper than that!

I took the boots own ones back after reading here that they were 50mIU, no use to man nor beast at 10DPO!

You can find out the sensitivity on the sheet that comes with them.

Some of the american ones are laughable 100miu/ml the wait is agonising enough without adding extra days for that!!
ha
I got me some cheapy 10miu/ml from ebay now have 32 stockpiled for those difficult 3wws.

Hope i only need 2.
x Daisy

Sorry to be so thick here but is the test better the higher the mIU? or not?

The lower the sensitivity the earlier it can detect the pregnancy hormone :)

ETA, so you'd more likely to get a bfp with a superdrug 10mIU sooner than a Boots own 50mIU x

Ok so my Sainsbury's own brand (BFN this morning) will technically be more accurate than the CB digi I bought today?

Thats sounds right going by the list.

Keeping my fx for you :dust: x

Am I getting this right , the lower the mIU the sooner you'll get a result?

Yes that's right. The number is the amount of hCG needed for the test to detect it, so tests with lower numbers can detect lower levels of it (so earlier on) x
