PM pop ups..another problem..topics marked "unread&quot

my book mark is set to my inbox si I see straight away if I have pm's, but im sure ive had pop-ups when ive got one while im online - one just the other day actually? hmmm odd one, it might be something in the admin configuration if you can get access to that urchin?

OK everyone that isn't getting a PM pop up - pop one of these into your computer 10 minutes before logging into the forum...

I have my pop up blocker on so don't get them anyway, but one thing that I have noticed is the last few times I've had a pm I haven't had a notification email.

I have a pop up blocker on, but usually when I get a pm my pop up blocker 'pops up' and tells me, so I know I've got a PM.

But still nothing

Would help if someone pm'ed me though

No but when I click the orange icon it takes me to the first post in the thread, not the first unread post. It does this 3 out of 5 times I do it

I wonder if the database needs pruning?

Its getting pretty chocker with threads, it might be an idea to archive anything over say....6 months old?
