My official due date last time was 2nd of February, but my due date going by my own dates was the 6th. I went into labour on the 6th and my son arrived by emergency c-section two days later, on the 8th.

I just logged back into my ovia app and I had a positive opk on 12th November so could have ovulated anything from 12th to 14th which would make my due date in the next few days... We will see if the theory works lol! Ive got way to much time on my hands right now haven't i :/ haha zxx

Tri hopping, with My first I went to 40+5, I had a sweep at 40 and another at 40+3 or 4. (Can't quite remember!)
I kept really active in the last couple of weeks, paintings n the house, tiling the bathroom, going to the tip, running (waddling) up and down the stairs, bouncing on my ball and of course eating curry and pineapples! No signs of labour whatsoever until my waters broke and she arrived 6 hours later! Xx

Oh jd why do you think you will be induced? Are you just panicking like me??
Caseymummy i can't remember my ovulation dates but I remember either by LMP or ov date I would be due 7th.. Wish I'd kept my app now lol!
Hutch u why did you need the drip? Did your contractions not start on their own after the waters? I'm already 2cm dilated!
Gillyboos how lucky that you were able to do it natural in the end

I've just got a feeling I will, not I've signed up fit the birthing centre and it looks really good. I can see the baby just not coming so I will have to into hospital instead xx

Id 3 sweeps...
I had my LB 14 days over. Was brought 13 days over and my first pessary was put in at 6pm. By 10pm i strated getting back ache then cramping like period pains. My 1am the mw suggested i got a bath to try ease the pain and get comfortable. Stayed there for maybe 30mins and ended up getting out as everything stopped. 6am id another pessary... still nothing. 1pm i got my waters broke. It was horrible. It took 2 mw's as my cervix was high and far back. Also went onto the drip to help speed things up and i had him at 8.25pm.

I dont know why but i think id rather be induced again. Im actually terrified going on my own. Id hate to be one of these people in labour for days!

If only we could choose mummy bee haha... Labor would be a lot better that way wouldn't it.

Ive worked in the birth centre that I'm going to, ive just qualified as a nurse when I was training I did agency shifts there as a support worker so ive seen how the birth centre works and I love it, all the women who birth there love it so I want it so bad! obviously if I'm induced I can't go there..

Maybe... When you say you had no signs at all, what happened, did you just start contractions and that was it? xxx

Pretty much. I woke up at 3am with a contraction and feeling 'damp' to find my mucus plug had gone. Carried on contracting and later that day I gave birth.

aw I know exactly how you feel. My son was born at 42+1! I had an induction but had a very positive experience.

I wrote about it on here in birth stories! Everyone tells you to rest and take it easy but you just want your baby here! Good Luck xx

Correct! Id get that drip put into me and let it work its magic & hope it was as quick as last time it went in haha. The man that delivered my son told me he finished at midnight and he wouldnt see my son being born. Well wasnt he in shock when i told him i had to push lol!! I have a feeling il not make it to my due date this time tho. Its making me so anxious. I have it in my head my waters will just explode when im out in public lol! Xx

Thanks hun, my induction is booked for sunday so I'll have a read and hopefully it will ease my fears abit xxx
