Opinion on Girl's Names Please

We've got a short list but favourite at the moment is Ella. We live in Germany so it has to be something that they will be able to pronounce too!

German names I like are Anja and Katja, but OH doesn't like them!
There are so many Lilys about and there also seem to be loads of Laras here too, so I think those are out.
I like Clara but OH doesn't like that.
We don't think we're "out there" enough to go for Luna!!
Amelia is my great grandmother's name and I would like it shortened to Millie too.

So, at the moment we're thinking Ella Rose or Ella Grace.
Ella Amelia is a bit of a mouthful, isn't it?

I have a Grace, I love it, it's timeless. Our dd is Grace Elizabeth. x I also have an Amy Joy and an Elliotte Jane. elliotte gets Ellie and Elle for short.

We have been thinking Ella too and I love Ella grace but OH has a relative called grace and we don't want to use the name. OH has started wavering on Ella now.....it's v hard!

Luna is beyond beautiful!!!

Not only is it beautiful sounding, but I've never met anyone called Luna, I can't think of any film star or musician called Luna.... that instantly gives it presence, memorability, meaning. It sounds really fashionable too. A winner in my eyes!

The only name I don't like on there is Clara. I like Ella, but nowhere near as much as Luna.

Think we're 100% decided on Ella Rose though - I really love it and you can't mispronounce it in English or German or shorten it to anything annoying (I think!)
