i was 39 weeks on Sat just gone!!! I have no idea - they currently wont give me crutches as dont want to damage bump so have a frame - looks so fetching!!! But crutches are an option ince baby is here!! So there will be no carrying baby for me for a while - i'm hoping the full cast i get Thurs will give me more support!!
It's been a crazy week as i ended up having to have an op to plate and pin my ankle and i've always said no epidural but ended up having one so they could fix my ankle!! Thing is i wish i had done it for a good reason but i fell over my nans dog!!! But thankfully baby is fine and very active still!!!!!! I think i'm the only person hoping to go overdue!!!!!
 
I don't know but if you get a sling then you should still be able to carry baby but dunno how well it would work with crutches x
 
another day ladies! I had a good night sleep, got tucked in at 9pm with hot water bottle for my lowerrback/bum as i had REALLY bad period pains for a good few hours but when i fell asleep i sleept good all wrapped up with OH.. and i didnt wake up until 9.30! (just a few times for the loo and when OH kissed me god bye this morning)
So far today no aches and pains and im soon of to the MW! He better be engaged!
 
i just had the worst nights sleep ever i was so tired but just couldnt drop off and everytime i did half hour later i was up again for loo :(
 
I'm off to mw too but not until 1.50pm so got ages yet! I didn't sleep terribly but did keep waking up in agony with my back and front of my bump. Think he's lying on a nerve as it was soooooooo painful! Also kept waking up thinking I was going to be sick as my nausea has taken a turn for the worse! If I was 40 weeks I'd be begging mw for a sweep! Lol!
 
I got very little sleep last night, tossing and turning all night and was super hot. Don't know if it means anything more than things progressing but could just be I'm stressed about going overdue? I don't think so consciously but maybe subconsciously?

I also have pain in my pelvis but it tends to be after I've been on my ball so guess it's related to that. Still getting tightenings and period type pains but nothing more advanced. Got me some EPO and rasp leaf tea yesterday, so giving that a go.
 
I seriously can't stop peeing today, it's driving me nuts now! I literally will be sat here then 2 mins later im bursting so ill go then sit back down and straight away i need to go again and im bursting!! I think little man's proper sat on bladder now!

i got a MW i have had before once and even tho shes very sweet i just think shes not very good, i mean she dont seem confident! She measure me with her fingers, i dont like that she reckon 40 cm which is ok. She had a good feel and poke and said Noa feels average (i asked her to guess and she said she couldnt tell but she was guessing 7lbs ish :D ) She wrote ENG in my papers so i said is he fully engaged? :love: she said "i dont think so but its hard to tell, im sure i could still feel a little bit of his head tho" ?!? :doh:
I told her about my pains and period pains and BH that are getting stronger and she said its good signs body is getting ready now!! wohoo!!

gosh my hips and pelvis is KILLING me walking.. feels like they are just gonna crush under me when i walked home! oh well.. not long now..
 
Just got back from my MW appointment, apparently pregnancy suits me :) she commented on my perfect bump! :lol: I'm 36cm which is perfect, and Isla looks to be engaged yipppeeeee!! Better get bouncing! She predicted 7lb 7oz which sounds good to me, I've also got sore pelvis and Coccyx and general aches and pains :(

hope everyone else's appointments have gone well.

Just got back from mw! We spent ages chatting about home birth and hypnotherapy! I love her! Lol! She measured me as 33cm (with tape measure) and then had a good feel of him and remeasured me as she says my uterus is higher on the right than the left and I measured at 36cm which is bang on the middle line on the graph so we're happy! Heart beat was between 129 and 157 and she explained that it's a great sign that the hb is jumping around and they worry if it's staying in the same place. He punched her! Lol! He's still 3/5ths but she said that they slip in and out of engagement all the time so don't worry (I wasn't worried! Lol!) and she's going to email me some of the recent emails she's received from others who have done hypnotherapy! All in all a great appointment! We have an appointment booked for the 22nd oct but she said she doesn't want to see me at it! Lol!

To top it all off OH has got a great wage this week so we're treating ourselves to Chinese! Yay!!!!

Feeling much more happy and positive now! Love my midwife!!!!

great news :) mine was fully engaged but i can feel she up and down like a yoyo so i dont hold much store in it sounds like your in for a great birth with her x
 
I hope I go into labour when she's on call! She said that from today it's looking really positive for having enough community midwives to be able to have him at home! Just the waiting now! Lol!

Yay for positive appointments!
 
Yep eng means fully engaged ready to go at any time xxx
