I'm a bit clueless when it comes to the blankets. But my friend told me with her little boy shed put it over him, with his arms out of the blanket, and tucked into the sides of the moses basket/crib. I think it sounds like a good idea cause then he can't bring the blanket up over his head.

but is yours really big aswell? i could wrap baby in 10 times! i feel really bad not having a clue! or dont you wrap them or just lay blanket on top?

lols yes mine a large too but i have a smaller one for moses basket from toys r us i wraped dd for first week then just layed blanket on top but it was summer with her and she hated being swaddled wanted to wave arms n legs around lol it may be a case of try and see what noa likes best

I used to put Lacey in vest and sleepsuit at night then wrapped a blanket tightly around her so she was tight and couldn't move as that's what their used to in the womb then at a month old used the sleeping bag!

i might do that chaz.. he will be layin right next to me in his basket in the cot so i can feel him all night so i will feel if hes hot or cold..

Eek that's great though Lisa! I keep thinking at most it'll be 6 weeks!

With the sleeping bags, I couldn't live without them with lace. At least they can't kick the sleeping bags off like they can with blankets!

im really hoping it a her lols i have packed 2 blue htings just incase as it never been clear and have my backup boys name ready lols i dont seem possible it so close dont seem 5 mins since we were all in tri 1

well after months of loving rory iv totally changed my mind and it will be henry david if it a boy and daisy faith if it a girl unless it ginger then it will probably be scarlett faith lol

i do feel ready but if im honest there is stilla too good to be true thinkg going on in my head untill bubs here safe sound and in my arms im not gona believe it all real if that makes sense

Makes complete sense! It sounds weird but sometimes I think one day my bump'll just suddenly disappear and I'll have nothing to show for it! Lol!

Sounds really silly bit I'm still scared somethings gonna go wring and I'm gonna lose him! I keep thinking what if the cord gets wrapped around his neck and I don't relise! He's been quiet the past few days but as long as I feel abit of movement I'm happy! It's normally only his head moving I feel though!!

Zanders was wrapped round 2x and my cousins and my brothers I think it's pretty common for the mw's to deal with so you will be in good hands hunni if it happens try not to worry and just enjoy your birth they just slip the cord back over the head if it's in the way zander swallowed some pooh too and just had a little oxygen and was ok my bro and cousin just had oxygen too and were good xxx

OMG in a week i have gone from excited to be meeting my baby to wanting baby to stay put as long as possible!! Last tues i decided to be very clever and fall over my nans dog and break my ankle in 2 places along with dislocating it!! After 4 days in hosp and 2 doctors argueing what to do with me and the baby i'm home with leg in a cast unable to put weight on it for 6 weeks!!! I just feel like crying today and feel useless and unprepared!!!
