****** October 2018 Mummies! ******

I LOVE Harriet! But DH doesn't :( We are using Isaac even though a friend has a son called Isaac. Friends come and go, family is forever

We haven’t decided if we will find out. We had surprises with the first two sonwould be weird to know, but my eldest is set on having a sister so I wouldn’t want him to be disappointed meeting the baby if it’s a boy?

We have a girls name which is Rosie but we have no boys names!

Aw I love Harriet it is so cute
Sebastian was on our list too !

Just pulled up to a pub for a lovely chicken dinner and I am sat in the car having a terrible wave of nausea
Roast dinners are my fave

Hey sorry for the questions and then leaving,
Absolutely love all the names ♥️ I love the name Sebastian but the other half hates it.. :(
We've decided to go for Rae for a girl and Phoenix (nix), for a boy.
With the middle name as Emerson for both as that's my nan's middle name and we lost her last year.
We won't be finding out either..
I've got a really strong feeling that this one is a boy! But I don't think I've ever been right when guessing the sex of a baby, apart from my MMC..
So who knows?!

Struggled through my dinner last night, i am so much worse in an evening with sickness

actually morning is the only time i feel ok!

Re names, OH loves Cooper for a boy which is cute but i will be doublebarreling our surnames so its going to sound like 3 surnames put together  plus i found out my friend has called thier dog cooper lol! it is a bit of a dogs name

I am working on Wyatt because I adore the name! I also really like Jake/Jacob, Caleb, Elijah and Leon ( OH hates leon hes doing my nut in! )

Ooh yay the midwife just called me and moved up my booking in appt to next Wednesday:yay:

this means I will get my NHS scan dates through sooner, i'm feeling positive about this one :dust:

Does anyone else have the Ovia Pregnancy app? I’m 8 weeks today and the first little hand/foot prints came up this morning I got so emotional and started welling up!

Great news that your booking in appt got moved forward Netty. I had mine on Saturday and thought it would be really exciting but the midwife was so uninspiring - I think she had had a personality bypass...hope you have better luck! Counting down the days until my dating/nuchal scan on 6th April, I’m less nervous about it than I was last week. I don’t know about you guys but I’ve been taking belly pics every week and can FINALLY see a noticeable difference from last week to today which has put me on a bit of a high this morning!!! X

aw kj1 thats so sweet, i will have a look for it i haven't heard of that one!

Midwife sounded lovely over the phone so fingers crossed

As for bumps, I am SO bloated its stupid and my belly is rock hard and way out, its nice but embarassing if people ask as i am only NEARLY 7 weeks and the baby is teeeny weeny, i asked my mum ( shes a nurse ) and she said i will grow into it haha!

I am so bloated i bought maternity leggings from peacocks yesterday and they are bliss i will be buying some more later, really really comfy high waist ones :-)

Ahhh my bloating was SOOOOO bad but it actually seems to have sorted itself out a bit the past few days. Before, the only time I could really see my 'true' figure was first thing in the AM after a trip to the loo (LOL) but it's much better now. Hold in there!

Oooohhh interesting, I'm going to have a look online and see if I can order some! I always wear skin tight high waisted jeans but they are becoming a bit uncomfortable especially whilst sitting behind a desk all day. I keep thinking how lucky we all are that we will be at our most heavily pregnant in summer and won't need to be so restricted by layers etc.

ah yes nice floaty dresses all summer! and icepops ( dammit i want one now )

I tell you what i have been craving and eating a ton of! Apples! I never usually bother with them out of all the fruit but i cant get enough of them and apple juice!

OoOoOOOoo you know what they say about craving fruit...it's a GIRL!!!! x

Ahhh all my family say girl, I was the last girl in the family after me it was all boys so its about time we had another little girl!

in fact everyone says girl for me ( i would LOVE a girl  )

We will see! AGH so long to wait to find out haha!!

Great news about the earlier appt netty :) hopefully the midwife is lovely. My midwife appt is on Monday when I'll be 10 +3, I'm hoping I don't get the same woman as my last pregnancy, I know its not her fault but I felt very let down that there is no follow up when you miscarry especially after I'd had the booking appointment weeks before and she knew I was at risk of depression. She was about to look after me for another 7 months so a wee phone call offering places to go for advice/help would have been nice.

I am sooo irritable today btw, don't look at me, don't talk to me and certainly don't ask me to do anything sort of way! And it doesn't help that work is busy, big things and stupid fiddly crap as well as people just being useless. I want to go home for a hot bath (which we're not allowed) and then sleep! :trouble:

what a shame you had such a negative experience :-( i hope its better this time!

and boooo to feeling cranky, I know we can't hav boiling baths ( i love a scalding hot bath ) but still have a warm one with some nice smellies/oils maybe?

I was like that yesterday. Everything irritates me. And I miss hot baths 😭

Wait, we aren’t allowed hot baths????

apparently not very very hot baths no, overheating is dangerous. But you can still have a bath!

Wait, we aren’t allowed hot baths????

Ooh sorry to worry you. But yeah to do with our bodies then being unable to regulate their temperature. Warm is fine :)

I just decided against them altogether as I'm such a worrier and hubby agrees. Plus the reason I love my bath is cos it has a billion jets which I'm assuming aren't a great idea either and I like to stay in for ages meaning it needs topped up with hot :oooo:.. oh and isn't there something about bath water potentially causing infections down there?! Nightmare!

Well 1 hour til hometime, need a quick trip to the shops, bit of kitchen tidying and put away ironing and then I can sit and stew in my own grumpiness, woohoo! Cant begin to think about cooking so let's assume I'm not cooking lol x
