I’ve been super thirsty too but can’t drink enough. I want to drink pints and pints of water but I’m sick of peeing. Ha ha

Anyone else struggling with drinking? I've been constantly thirsty, but totally fine up until now to stay hydrated with water, tea/coffee (decaf of course) and mint tea. Since Friday afternoon, though, I've completely gone off all of these. I make a cup and can only manage half before giving up.
The only thing I enjoyed this weekend was some bitter lemonade, but not sure I should drink litres of the stuff as I know sweeteners aren't so good for you, and fizzy stuff will make indigestion worse....

I swapped to decaf as I love my coffee, but like you I find I get half way through and give up. I’m not a lover of water so I tend to have squash more than anything, although I do try to persist with water when I’m out.

I’m finding out because I’m impatient haha. We have 3 girl names we like so far and 1 boy name, but knowing us we’ll flip flop!

My OH is coming to the next scan with me, i think it will hit home for him then. He works avery active/outside job and he is shattered at the moment and with me being dead on my feet too the house is going to ruins lol!

he is being very sweet though, i am SO bloated you would not believe i look about 4/5 months gone its a joke and he loves it, says it looks nice

We’re going for a surprise! There hasn’t been a girl in the family for 4 generations on OHs side so not sure how much of a surprise it will be

I've got a few name ideas already... Willow or Elowen for a girl with maybe Eleanora as a middle name.
And possibly Rowan for a boy with Gregory or Archer as a middle name.

Those aren't set though and will most likely change. Our first son is Logan Christopher.

A mixture of how the men are dealing with it then haha. I threw up in the kitchen sink this morning (that's been my first sickness! 9 +4, I'm doing not bad) and hubby seemed quite concerned about if I was OK to be heading out the door to work 5 minutes later so that was sweet.

We are definitely finding out and in fact he wants to wait until we know the sex before telling anyone!!
We might struggle with names as we either disagree or have some great ideas and then in the last 3 years so many friends have had kids and used those names or ones too similar

I really like Alexander for a boy but my sister recently had a girl and called her Alex! Oh and he doesn't want our kids to have a name starting with the same letter as either of ours so all the L's and M's are out, god help me!

Hi everyone not been on in a while. Glad everyone’s doing ok and happy your scan went well Netty. I’ve also been really sick (sick at least once a day for the last 5 weeks, midwife thinks il be due end of September but il find out at scan so would put me at 11+5 today). I accidentally forgot to take my prenatal vitamins the last few days and I’ve been much less sick. Still feeling sick and still sometimes being sick but so much better than I was. I’ve got a different make today and if they make me feel really sick again I’m going to switch to just folic acid. Apparently the iron in prenatal scan make you sick.

My midwife phoned me yesterday to update me on blood test results taken at my booking appointment. Turns out I’m O- and if you have a negative blood type and your baby is positive your body can attack the baby’s red blood cells. I have to have another blood test when I next see her in April so they can try and find out baby’s blood type as dna will be mixed with my blood then. If it comes back that baby has positive blood type or inconclusive I have to have anti D injections in third trimester and after birth. She also said if I have any bleeding, including spotting, or hit my tummy on anything even if not that painful I have to phone hospital to go and have injection as baby’s blood could end up mixing with mine and then my body will make antibodies to destroy the baby’s red blood cells. The injections will make my body think that there’s already antibodies. As this is my first pregnancy the risk is very small and the injections not only help this pregnancy but will also protect any future pregnancy as the risk increases each time.

On a good note though I finally got my appointment for my dating scan and the combined screening. It’s on the 22nd March so next Thursday when il be around 13 weeks. Can’t wait to see that everything is ok and find out when my due date actually is....my periods were still irregular after coming off the pill so maybe wrong.

We definitely want to know the gender. We've picked out names also Isaac for a boy and Anne for a girl. Everyone thinks I'm having a boy. Has anyone guessed what you are having?

You guys wont believe what happened today. At work one of my clients asked if I was pregnant! I was flabbergasted... I just said "doesn't always happen so soon after marriage"... Not directly a lie I guess I might be starting to show after all. My acne has started clearing up as well, which is brilliant.

I LOVE Isaac Sev! I always wanted an Isaac should I have a boy but unfortunately we have some close friends who recently had their first and have named him Isaac so that one is off limits other names in the running are Oliver, Oscar or Sebastian for a boy and Ava, Emma or Flora for a girl.

I'm dying for a bump to appear now, I'm fed up with the soft, bloated look! For some reason both OH and I have had an inkling from the start that it's a girl, I'm not even sure why.

We won't be finding out again! We didn't with the first either! We've not talked about names either yet. We liked Alex for a boy last time and I also like Sebastian. Girls we found much harder, but we like Harriet. Although a family friend called their daughter that so I dunno!! Hubby really wants it to be a girl so we have one of each! I would love a girl, but would also be over the moon with another boy. Had booking in today, so hopefully I'll get the scan date through soon xx
