Ahhh. I've just had a letter for jury service! I want to do it but it's the week I should have a midwife appointment and what if I need a wee all the time. Will they need to stop proceedings every 45 minutes so I can go to the toilet? I'm now fretting over it.

Cool, I'v always wanted to be up for jury service lol! I think u have to go unless u have a really good reason x

I used to work in the Probation service and found it all quite interesting.

Do I have to have the 16 week midwife appointment at 16 weeks? I'm away week 15 so it would have to be 17/18 weeks.

It might not be a water infection it might be cystitis xx

I thought they were the same thing?

Cystitis is of the kidneys and urine infection is of the ureatha, are you pushing out all your urine every wee? X

I dont know if you have to do it being pregnant, you could use the DVT excuse xx

Ahh ok, I've had cystitis before when it stings to wee? That's not what's happening this time.
I have been finishing my wee's except today it never quite felt like I finished even when there wasn't anymore coming out. If I sat and waited a minute I could go again or by the time I got back to my desk I felt like I needed to go again. It's not been as bad this afternoon though x

Aw cool, you don't have to have a check at 16weeks I would phone your midwife and tell her about it I'm sure it will b fine if u have ur check a week late x

Oohh 16wks check up is the first time your midwife will check the heartbeat and let you listen xx

Only as anxious as we all are waiting for our scans and appointments. The first painful wee did make me worried but feeling better this evening x

Evening all i had my scan this morning

So 10 days ago she measured me 4w5d today was 6w4d so baby is catching up and said babys grow at different speeds. But she think i will be the right size by the dating scan

She did see two sacs one with a baby and good heart beat but the other was empty

Going back for my next scan in just under two weeks

That's really reassuring that baby has been playing catchup. It must be so hard to get it right when they're still only 4 or 5 weeks. Absolutely tiny proportions in there!

I was due to have my booking in appointment this morning, although having come down with a horrific cough/cold last weekend, meaning I lost my voice and was left feeling very weak I ended up having to take two days off work at the start of the week. With year 11 exams coming up I didn't feel it was fair for me to miss another day from work so the midwife managed to rearrange my appointment for after school on the 10th March. Seems so far away but I felt much more relaxed when I knew I wouldn't be letting anyone down.
Just found out midweek that one of my best friends is also expecting her first baby at the moment, and only a few weeks ahead of me which is really exciting!

Sometimes being anxious can cause an over active bladder, my urine is now clear but the nerves get the better of me and i still have feelings of an infection but i think its just the anxiety playing havoc on my bladder lol..joys of pregnancy xx

I went in to be sick and OH had left the toilet in a chemical warfare. It stunk.

Which made vomming rather fast and painless.

I dunno how many airfresheners I need to put in there but Im gonna start putting signs or telling him if he wants to leave that kinda smell he can do it at work
