Hi ladies, I think I'm ready to join this thread now. I got my BFP on Tuesday, so only 3 days ago! Eeeek. My name is Louise and as this is an IVF baby the clinic has booked me an early scan which is 7th March when I'll be 7w1d. I haven't called the DR's yet to arrange booking in or anything, I'm not sure whether I do this once I'm discharged or not. Hope you girls are all doing ok?! X Oh forgot due date..... Doh baby brain. EDD IS 23rd Oct xx

My aunt worked in an early pregnancy unit for one year and after speaking to her this afternoon she feels it may have triggered the rest of my implantation bleed to come away, and she has said it sounds very promising that the bleeding has stopped, I've had no pain and that the baby was well yesterday. I need to stay positive til Monday. It's extremely hard I know it just sounds so stupid because everyone is the same! But I just don't want to loose the baby, this little baby will be my entire life and I can't help but get emotional when I even think I am pregnant never mind the problems. A very hard time for me but Thankyou for the support ladies and I hope your pregnancies are all going well xx

Hi chick i work in maternity, and lots of ladies bleed, you will have to keep a pad on over the weekend and put yr feet up, also have you had your urine tested xx

I haven't had my urine tested nope. Maybe should mention it when I go on Monday? Xxx

Worth it might be a urine infection mine was when i bled x

Congratulations! Glad to have someone closer to my date lol! I'm not bothering booking in until I've had a private scan at 8ish weeks, but I'm a bit paranoid lol X

Some of the girls in here were stressed about numbers. As every pregnancy is different some may get next dates before others.

I only did 1 and got 2-3 then it ended up being way over when I get my 3+ so I didnt bother, partly cause it was pointless getting a 3+ late on and partly incase I got another 2-3 when i shouldnt have.

If youv not did one I would, its nice to see the words and weeks.

Just keep an open mind that it is jst a test so dates dont matter hugely.

Maybe get the 2 pack and by the time they arrive u may get your 2-3 and can use the last 1 for your 3+? I was almost 5w when I got my 2-3.

But i implanted like 6dpo so thats prob why Ive read some girls get a 1-2 at 5w. Infact Im sure I read on here somewhere that someone far on did one and got like a 1-2 or 2-3.

It does all depend how much hcg is in ur urine which can differ from day to day esp with how much you drink etc.

Tell him 12 quid is cheap compared to whats coming or say your peace of mind doesnt have a price lol.

Yes its weeks after conception. Eg 1-2 weeks after conception is about 4-5 weeks pregnant.

Haha! I'm paying £100 for a private scan in a few weeks, so £12 is nothing lol... I think I shouldn't get one in case it's awful then.. Maybe I'll wait a bit!

Tbf, the result doesnt last long. It says for a positive it shows for 6m or somehing mine was blank in a few days..

My line tests however have not faded...

I kept my line tests from my daughter for months and months and then oh threw them in the bin �� I think it's a lot of money for something that might stress me out more and won't last. I think I'll just book an eight week scan instead, that'll give me something to aim for! They're quite good and you pay half up front and get it back if you cancel within 48 hours of the booking.. I had one booked for just before Christmas but never got that far and got a refund which was good (the refund was anyway..)

The week after I had my last loss, I got a text from the Drs reminding me about my mw appointment (why can't people talk to eachother???!) which was very upsetting. I'd like to have the scan and then book in if all ok, with enough time to get a decent nhs dating scan date.. You're having one at 8ish weeks to aren't you russellmuscle? X

Stand away from the clear blue tests lol, they really arnt worth it, just go to the go and ask for a blood test..

If the clear blue didnt come out how you expected it will stress you out and stress isnt good on any pregnancy. Xx

Haha, yes I know you're right! I doubt my Drs would do a blood test. Even with my history, they're very hesitant to do anything. My Dr said before I shouldn't consider myself pregnant until I get to my dating scan!! Going to book early scan when I get paid and go from there xx

Its a personal choice I think. Not everyone gets stressed over a digi. I think for me its easy to know and remember that its just a test and only can measure the hcg in your urine at that time.

Theres been ladies on here to post lined tests too to check (Wilson included) if the test line got lighter or darker so dont think it really matters whether its a digi or not

If you think youd get stressed over a date thats possibly inaccurate then yes Id wait for my scan.

I didnt do digis first time round, this time round seeing the words and dates were magical. Everyone is different though

Digis scare me lol. I had a chemical last year, first test was a line test, then did a digi which said 1-2 weeks. Did another digi a week later and it said not pregnant. The inevitable happened and although I knew it was completely irrational I kept saying to my partner that I shouldn't have done that second digi! This time the only test available was a digi and although I was nervous about doing it it came up 3+ first time. I'm not doing any more though!
