Hey ladies! Aela is doing fab, she was 6 months on the 14th of this month and is growing up so quick. We're now on food 3 times a day and she enjoys (or will take) most foods we have tried! Parsnips are her fave �� She's crawling like a mad thing, it happened over the space of a week from being up on all 4's to working out how to move, no stopping her now! Still breast fed, hoping her need for it will just reduce as the solids increase, i'm back to work in July, we have booked a nice weekend away to Whitby just before I return to work so something to look forward to! How are all of you and your bubbas? Xxx

My little one hasn't taken to weaning that well, trying to give her puréed food, it mostly ends up either all over her face and bib, once I get a couple of spoons in her then she eats a bit better. I sometimes just dip her dummy in foods just to get her used to tasting different things, her bottom two teeth are just starting to cut through now xx

How is everyone and their babies doing? We are well into weaning now and doing well. Sleeping fantastically and sitting up unaided very well.

The facebook group unfortunately broke down after a widespread bullying campaign on one of the members. There were several members who took control and caused issues when someone disagreed. At least on here, us mums can speak our minds without being shot down or made to look like idiots.

Hey ladies. It's all still pretty quiet here, hope your all well. What milestones has everyone's bubbas hit then ? Would love to see updated photos of the wee ones!

Aela has her bottom 2 teeth, top 2 are on their way. She's feeding 3 times a day and is finally taking a bottle of expressed milk before bed time, which is such a relief for me returning to work! I'm due back in 7 weeks.

She is crawling, pulling up on the furniture and can even climb onto most things now. She will easily walk if she is holding onto your hands, so doing great! I'm so shocked at how quick she has managed to learn all this. Definitely wasn't expecting pulling up and walking aided til she was nearing a year!

She is on the 75th percentile line for her weight and height, but that doesn't come as a shock cause she's eating great and both me and her daddy are tall

I check in about once a week to see if there are any updates but usually there's nothing haha, would love to hear from you all more!

Hey all


I tend to update my journal from time to time in parenting section. Always forget to come in here.

We are doing fab. C last weighed in a couple weeks ago at 20lb 2oz. He's in 9-12m clothes now, vest and sleepsuits went first then we are now phasing out the smaller 6-9m that doesn't fit him or too tight. It's a bugger when all diff shops have different sizes.

He has 2 bottom teeth, 3 top teeth are all in but not fully, still a week or so before they'll all be in and no doubt hell be onto more. His bottom cut same time then top 3 and the 4th is budding he's alot more than his brother, his came one at a time. Not enjoying him crunching them though.

He can sit, crawl, roll, hold himself up against things and can hold hands and walk or cruises about in the walker.

Saying the usual baby noises dada first as usual then baba, but he's deffo using his voice now and is a nightmare to dress and change because he's off and hard to pin down! he shares a room with his brother which is going well.

All in all fairly settled into weaning he was struggling with textured stage puree however has seemed to prefer finger foods so he has his porridge and fruit pot then lunch and dinner with his feeds inbetween. He doesn't really have appetite for snack yet he is quite satisfied and thriving so don't wanna introduce more atm.

I go back to work in July. Semi looking forward to it but I'm hoping to go back reduced hours. Jackson starts school after the summer and atm I'm working on getting a summer bod! Back in to big 10s or a 12 and having no sweets cakes bad food or fizzy drinks. Been quite pleased with myself.

Aela is looking super cute! Glad she's taking an expressed bed bottle now. Are you looking forward to getting a wee work/fam routine going? I'm just dying for routine because I know this isn't reality haha!

Nice to see our babies growing . My little one has her two bottom teeth through now, she doesn't like tummy time so isn't showing any signs of crawling yet but she does roll over and doesn't really like lying down anymore, she much prefers being sat up. She is making lots of babbling noises now which is nice to hear xx

Oh what a big boy haha! Aela is just squeezing into her 6-9 month clothes, but she will be in 9-12 in the next few weeks for sure. Which is a bugger cause she's just had a huge load of 6-9 summer items bought for her haha!

Madam is getting bad for biting everything in sight with this teething, which includes my boob when she's feeding which is sore haha!

I'm going to get her a sit in walker today because she's getting too brave and trying to walk by herself once she has pulled up on furniture which she is obviously not ready for and keeps falling as soon as she stops touching the couch! Same here, loads of babbling, she's mama and dada when she's tired but I doubt she makes the connection with us yet haha. Aela went through a phase of refusing everything off the sooon and only accepting finger foods, she only really eats off the spoon at breakfast and supper now and the rest is finger foods

3rd week in July is when I return to work RM, and I'm dreading it! Not only for the fact she is extremely attached to me, but I had 2 full time managers in the department when I left on maternity, and I'm returning to none! Plus the fact no one has been put in to replace the hours so my whole department is 80 hours down! One has been demoted and moved department and the other is away on maternity, so my whole workplace is going to be a shambles!! The staff I work with are good though so hopefully we can make it work.

Is that strawberry Carter has in the first photo? Strawbs are Aelas favourite, she just sits and takes chunks off it haha!

Oh she's gonna be a live wire up and away. Carter hasn't quite worked out what to do when he's up he just looks about all proud.

My work has gone to pot too. I just need to go back do my job and not involve myself in politics. I'll prob be too busy to care with two and work. Dunno how I even got this far never mind also adjusting to home work infirm and stuff I'll end up dead by Friday. I do like my identity that I get from work though I'm not Jackson or carters mum there.. I am Claire after a while of mum you just die for someone who isn't baby or oh to call you lol. Try not to think about problems just think of how excited she will be to see you. My fave Carter faces are first thing and if I'm out at gym and come back that sheer excitement I just love it lol.

It's watermelon that he has. He likes berries sometimes it depends how bitter they are. We are mainly just sticking to fruit veg bread and spreads will next try meats. I'm so paranoid for meat lol.

I can't believe it's nearly time to go back to it. Hang up my uterus for a few year xxxx
