where has everyone been buying there furniture from?

i'm looking for some reasonably priced stuff, i want a chest of drawers with a changer on top, most changers seem to have shelves beneath them but no drawers..

any websites/shops you can recommend?

thanks :)

We've got some kids furniture from argos. Haven't gone for nursery stuff as logan will be sharing a room with James so need stuff suitable for both.
I wouldn't bother with nursery furniture myself, it won't last long before they need bigger wardrobes etc.

that looks really good and great value for money becky!

wish it was in a few different colours though..

Ooo thats nice Becky :D

I didnt go for nursery furniture...I dont think all my bubs clothes would fit in a mini wardrobe :? he has a triple one like his Mum  I got it from Argos

Hey! We got ours from babies r us but we had the same problem with the drawers - it's SO expensive to get a changer woth drawers!
We ended up with http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Product.as...iture/brunurseryfurniturechangingunits/714089
and we just bought lots of boxes for it.

Have a look on ebay - most are pick-up only but there are some on there.

This is the best other one i could find

But it is not cheap!!!

I don't know what else you need but a set might be worth considering

http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.901-0086.aspx

all of these have the sort of changer you were after... and if you need the other bits then they work out better.

suzie thanks, thats a big help!

i'm dead excited about nursery furniture :cheer:

we ordered our from babies r us too in the sale. It's the range that babybee posted the link for (it was the changer she posted) We got the changer, cot bed and wardrobe and it came to around £350. They are white which we wanted cos LO room is small. :)

I got my cot and changer unit (shelves unfortunatly) from mothercare, they are really reasonable and seem really good quality.

I got a chest of drawers for his clothes from Focus, and most of the other stuff from Ikea, which I really recommend as they do really funky unusual stuff as well.

I bought mine from Ikea.

Already had a chest of drawers in the spare room so just bought a wardrobe to match and a shelf.

The chest of drawers isn't supposed to be a changing unit although thats what im using it for, however, you can buy a changing unit from Ikea within the same furniture range, just looked on website and they don't have it on website but the definitely have it in store. Basically its just an extension that fits onto the top of the chest of drawers and its priced at £16.00.

Heres the furniture range
