So I feel it's time to finally join all you lovely ladies on this thread

After 3 long and stressful years, we finally got our BFP which was rather unexpected after all this time I managed to pick up a digi and got the lovely 3+ so hopefully this will start to sink in a little more now. According to the calculators, my EDD is 19/11/18.

Also, I'm so pleased to be continuing this journey with Liz and Sunflower and look forward to getting to know everyone else

Yay! Welcome hunni.... added u to the list - it took us 3.5yrs to conceive our bean... so I totally understand how u feel.

How do u feel? Any symptoms yet?

I really don't feel anything if I'm honest. If it wasn't for the tests which I only did cos I was tracking, I'd just be going about my business!! We really had given up on a natural BFP so I think cautiously optimistic is the most accurate description right now. A bit scared to get too excited at this early stage.

What vitamins etc are people taking?

I didn't want to shell out for Pregnacare this time around. I've got Folic Acid from Holland & Barrett (250 tablets was only around £2.99) and Vitamin D from Morrisons (£2.50 for 90 tablets). The Folic Acid is the dose they recommend, whereas the Vitamin D is slightly higher than they recommend.

I'm taking the Boots folic acid/vit D pregnancy ones. I feel like I tried everything under the sun when we were TTC and then decided it was time to go back to basics so I'm sticking with it

I really have no symptoms at all but I know for a lot of ladies they don't kick in til about 6 weeks. I've had the odd crampy thing here and there but being honest it's the sort of thing that I normally wouldn't have given a second thought.

How are things with you?

Any of you experiencing twinges on right side ? Like a pinch, not a cramp. Had 1-2 in the last half hour... Odd feeling.. not painful just odd.

I felt like I had stitch on the left side all last week. I think it's just everything softening up ligament wise x

Funnily enough yes but that's been the only thing. Happened on Friday I think it was but nothing since and was maybe intermittent over about half an hour and that was it. It was lower abdo roughly around the pant line but definitely towards the right.

Yeah it was a bit odd. I liked to think of it as an implantation thing and our bean getting nice and snug

Glad to hear things are going well so far. I think it's all so new and everyone is so different that you can't really prepare yourself for what's to come.

Not great.

Possibly a MC. They'd expect to see more at 6+2... they can see the sac but no embryo yet. So either my dates are wrong and im earlier than i thought OR im miscarrying. Got to go back next friday for another scan - there may be an embryo there then.

That 6+2 is spot on according to my last period - obviously conception and ovulation could vary = as it's guesswork.

Oh no. I hope it's a case of being earlier than you thought. My friend has a scan recently and she thought she was 10 days further along than she was and her scan two weeks later showed everything was OK. Hopefully, it's the same for you for next week's scan.

Well ive been scrutinising dates - and its calculated on 1st day of last period which im sure was 31st jan. Which works out 6+2... so i cant see how the dates are wrong.

Obviously ovulation and conception can vary, but the period date cant be wrong,

Thread hopping, but just reading about your date dilemma...I thought this with my first as my last period dated me as due on 1st July, I had been tracking and was specifically sure we'd conceived on 9th October as I'd been using Ovulation tests. However, when I went for the first scan at 12weeks he was only measuring 11weeks which put me with a due date of 9th July instead!! When I looked puzzled the sonographer explained that I must've ovulated later in the month than I thought and that my LMP (I think that's what it's called) was a lot shorter than most people. So I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you that you could be earlier on than you thought xxx

Hello everyone - I’m due 26th November. When should I go and register pregnancy with Gp - my AF isn’t even due till tomorrow so I was worried I would be phoning too early if I phoned them today.
