November 2020 Mummies

Yes this very much.
Unless your unlucky, this is the time that your nausea will be stopping. So try not to worry too much (easier said than done I know!)

I'm ok today, although I was busy helping my kids with something and was 20 mins late taking my meds and it was a bit of a vomit fest  and I've been getting a few light cramps this afternoon which are annoying and hopefully nothing! Will have to wait and see. Pregnancy is just one long waiting game isn't it!

Only two days til your scan, right? :)

Yeah it's on Tuesday at 14.00 so I guess less than 2 days now, wooo

So exciting! :D Being one of the last ones is so frustrating haha. I’m happy the wait is nearly over for you though :D

I know, my 2nds due date was 26th so I was one of the last of the month group to hit any milestones, it's so frustrating. It's frustrating enough being at the middle of the group.

These last few days have gone quicker than I thought they would though, so hopefully your's will come round quickly too!!!

I needed to read this today.

I'm feeling very ... normal. I keep having weird paranoia that something will go wrong even though I have absolutely no reason to think that way.

That is good to read :) I guess... enjoy it whilst it lasts! :D

I was talking to a mum friend today. Apparently the intermittent anxiety about how bub is tracking at this stage is pretty normal. I was even looking into a doppler so I can check the heart rate, but I'm a little skeptical about picking up something like that online.

I've thought about it too but I keep telling myself not to as I know they'll probably cause more anxiety than they take away.

Thread hopping but I wouldn't get a doppler. If you're not qualified to use one it will cause more stress than good if you cant find the heartbeat, which could be for a number of reasons x

Anyone else had stomach muscle cramps/spasms? I used to get lots of really painful ones which would last for hours as a teenager and I've had them all this afternoon so far. They're not painful this time thankfully, it's more of a dull stretching ache. It really scared me for a while before I realised where I'd felt that kind of 'pain' before. Is this a pregnancy thing or am I just unlucky today? Haha.

I used to use a hot water bottle to help them relax but I guess I can't do that now! Lol.

Just sounds like your uterus is expanding making room for baby :)

@SockVortex I'm getting cramps like that at the moment, am telling myself it's just everything stretching and moving around!

Hope you all have a no nausea day today

I have gone through few posts here.
Im in my 11th week.
I have few suggestions if you have nausea and vomitings:
1. Please use a mouthwash to brush instead of a tooth paste (ingredients in it causes puking reflex)
2. Try to floss every night, during this phase there is more plaque formation and interdental bone loss. Spacing between teeth will be the result. Please use a floss that has a handle.
3. Use a mouth wash 30 minutes after a vomiting. It protects tooth enamel and prevents tooth sensitivity(as there is a rapid loss due to stomach acid’s pH)
4. If you have any night guard , use daily. Pregnancy is stressful. And results in night grinding/bruxism.. Just want to help fellow mommies going through this time.
Peace!
