November 2020 Mummies

@Kelly1991 only a week left, hopefully it'll fly by!!

Out of curiosity - when do we say the 2nd trimester starts? The NHS seems to suggest at the start of 13 weeks, as that's what my NHS maternity app says (basically my notes) but some information out there says 14 weeks.

As far as I know it's 13 weeks and I think that's what most people go by here. We need a thread on the Tri 2 board! :D

Thread hoping! I think in UK its 13 weeks but US seems to be 14 weeks. Definitely go by 13 weeks haha! X

I will be 13 weeks tomorrow yay!!

Should we wait and all move over to the Tri 2 board together? I think that our last scan is a week today.

Or I'm happy to start a thread there for us?

I don’t mind either way but as we’ve come this far shall we all wait and go together? :)

Yeah, let's go together!!

Trimester 2 today for me, week 13 and baby is as big as a lemon!

At least I know how big a lemon is!

Yes 100% it takes so much longer for the first time bump as good stomach muscles keep everything in place. I basically have no stomach muscles anymore after 2 massive babies and diastasis recti so my womb can sneak forward easily.

Won't be long!!!

Can’t wait. It has came around so quick. Then I can finally telling my family and close friends

I told D this morning that (if all goes well) this will be our only baby. I don’t know how I could survive another eight weeks of 24/7 nausea x___x I am so fed up of it.

Hopefully not too much longer before the sickness goes away!

I felt like that with I was pregnant with my DD but here I am pregnant with baby number 2 haha you soon forget about all that when it goes away. I personally think maybe everyone symptoms have been heightened by the lockdown and not really having anything to distract us.

Officially in the second trimester today :) so happy to get to this point

For me, its not so much the symptoms that have bothered me but the anxiety about the virus. I just don't think I could do this again.

I don't think I will have another until there is a high quality vaccine.

Congrats on officially being in tri 2, @CrazyChic! :) Five days to go for me.

I think I’m just having a moaning day x___x Just been crying because I have so few warm weather clothes I can wear and it’s 24 degrees out. Two maxi dresses is all I have. My boobs are too big for everything else and my skirts are all waist ones and I no longer have a waist!

It’d be funny if it wasn’t so annoying. I’m too scared to buy maternity clothes in case everything goes wrong on Tuesday :/
