November 2020 Mummies

Could it be a burst blood vessel? I haven’t been constipated before (thankfully) so I’m not sure how common this is.

Can you mention it at your scan today? Good luck by the way! What time is it at? :)
Yeh I’m going go mention it today. 230pm so going to be a long morning. X

Bit of a random 1 here, I suffer really bad with constipation. N wen I wipe my front there’s a slight brown discharge n today was abit pinkness. Have any of you ever had this? Should I be worried? X

Mention it at your scan xx

Absolutely devastated. They saw the gestational sac but nothing inside. I have to wait 2 weeks and then take a pregnancy test. But will more than likely bleed in the meantime n have to go to AnE if and wen that happens ☹️

Oh no! I’m so so sorry :( I can’t imagine how you must be feeling. Please take good care of yourself, Jen xxx

Oh no Jen, I'm absolutely devastated for you. Take care of yourself and rest xx

Kingston Hospital are absolute angels. They found us a room big enough so that D can be there at my scan just a safe distance away. I am so relieved. The only difference is that the time has changed. It's now at 4.30 instead of 9am so a slightly longer wait but I don't care :D Twelve days to go!

Fantastic outcome! If only pregnancy sped up time instead of slowing it down.

That's brilliant news. So happy for you xx

So I got an email this morning with this in it haha

I thought they said they couldn't tell?? Haha. It'll be interesting to see if they're right! :)

These were a different company, the use the skull theory aswell. We'll find out in 9 weeks haha

Has anyone noticed that their blood doesn’t clot as well now that they’re pregnant? My nose bleeds take longer to stop now. I also noticed my blood test site did the same thing (loads of blood on the plaster and a huge blood blister under my skin) and when I accidentally cut myself this afternoon there was loads more blood than normal from such a small wound O__o

I can’t find anything about it online. It seems like such a strange thing to be happening.

@SockVortex I had this too! I had a pedicure done at around 22 weeks and the lady snipped her tiny scissors into my skin next to a nail and it started bleeding. She had a hard time stopping it and eventually I had to hold it myself for the blood to coagulate. I didn't have any pedicures anymore after that! lol
A few weeks later, I bumped my foot into a wooden statue of a cheetah (which had vicious sharp nails) and a toe started bleeding. Again it took a while to stop. What did help was to apply a liquid band aid asap. It hurts horribly but it's only for a few seconds. Birth is much worse lol
Never knew why that happened but I did have gestational diabetes. I have no idea if it is connected.x

Ooh interesting! I’d better mention it to someone when I go for my next appointment then, just in case :) Thanks for the info!

It could be because of the increase in fluid mass during pregnancy
