November 2018 Testing Thread

Hi everyone.
Im new here, tcc baby number 3. First month trying and due to test 4th November xx

I started using the clear blue opk and this morning I got my first flashing smiley face! CD12

Jelly bean do you always use the clear blue opks? I have been thinking about buying these for a couple of cycles now but I just end up getting the cheap internet ones. Do you think it’s worth paying that bit extra for the clear blue?
Is a flashing smiley when you are close to ov? And a solid smiley is when your about to ov? X

Get it definitely. I paid 30 quid in Tesco and you get 10 test strips. I got negatives CD 9 10 and 11. This morning got flashing smiley which means high levels detected and then I would imagine I will get same tomorrow then when the surge is detected, you get a constant smiley appear and it stays on the screen for 48 hours so you can't test again while that is there and that is tour peak ovulation time. So I'm BD'ing every day now to Monday!

Both of my kids are July babies, let's see if is my lucky month :dust:

Morning ladies! Sorry I was a little quiet yesterday I was at a wedding and I have another today but I’ve updated the front page with the testing dates so good luck ladies :clover: and not long now for us to wait until November! :dust:

I'm quite excited now. I was super worried about my ovulation dates but had my second flashing smiley this morning CD13 so I'm feeling ok. If I don't get a bfp this month then I will feel disappointed but relaxed for the next cycle

Good attitude Jellybean :)

So question since I am new and scheduled to test Nov 1....in this forum do I announce whether I got a bfp or not? Also does this forum allow pics of test? I just want to be respectful:)

Yes! I love seeing those BFPs!! You can attach a pic of your test for us to scrutinize if you like?!;)

If you would like to attach a file, press on "go advanced" next to "post quick reply" and then on "attach file" under additional options.
The file you can upload isn't that big though so sometimes it's easier to take a screenshot and post that one!x

Hi ladies:wave:
After hanging out in the WTT section for months I finally make my way over to TTC:dance: Please can I be added to 18th Nov? Baby dust to all :dust:

Welcome! I’ve updated and added you for the 18th. Good luck :clover: :dust: how long have you been WTT? X

Thank you<3
I (re)joined the forum in June 2017:oooo: but wasn't sure when we'd TTC. I just felt broody again and I needed to chat to like minded ladies lol! Since then we've both been on the fence whether to go for #3 or not. At some point I was ready but OH wasn't, and other times it was vice versa. So I've been on and off the forum really just waiting for us both to be ready. I have been stalking the testing threads though and I'm so excited I can finally join in properly lol! :)

Welcome (back) Babymaker and lots of :dust: to you!

Thank you, you too:dust:

Hi all

Joining in from October thread. Should be testing around 20th November.
Still very new here (and to trying! I have two other children, 20 & 13). I have not yet advanced to the checking temperature and ovulation sticks but I am seriously considering it as I am no longer as young as I once was..I am also worried if I do start all that, will it take over my life? As in constantly thinking and worrying, how have you all found it?

Hmmm yeah sort of does take over your life Miss Jess but I also kinda like the science of it, it makes me feel more in control knowing what's actually going on with my body rather than just guessing :)
