News post for Labour signs for 37 weeks +++ ladies

Nope.... no news from me. I was hoping this doctor's appointment would not be necessary but it seems as if I will have no choice but to go. :(

I had a really bad night's sleep, woke up so many times... I poo-ed four times yesterday  so was sure I'd be woken up for the RIGHT reason last night but sadly no...

Anyone else????

Nowt!!!!
Got to go to hosp tomorrow to see consultant... Blood pressure is high and I'm getting vile headaches.
Will be 39 weeks, hopefully they will do a sweep or book me in..... what do you reckon????

I think its full moon 15th isnt it? thats wat net says..

either way.. come'on lil babys get a wrigglin down and out hehe xx

Some slightly good news from me today, I've been having clear jelly stuff when I've wiped after the loo for the past few days and today I had some bloody tinged stuff instead :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: It was like a pink blob of jelly with a couple of little streaks of blood in it too....... I'm pretty sure it was some of my bloody show :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I did have a little bit of period pain too.....I seriously never thought I'd see the day when I would be happy to get period pains :rotfl: but it's eased off a bit now.

I've been nesting this morning too, I've cleared out a few of the kitchen cupboards to make way for baby's stuff and I've cleaned all the cupboard doors and kick boards too. Fingers crossed it won't be too long for me now

I've got a MW appointment tomorrow so I'm going to beg and plead for her to do a sweep. I know I'll not be 40 weeks yet but I am soooooo ready to have the this baby out now that I don't know if I can wait another week :shakehead:

Come on babies......out now!!! your mummies all want to see what you look like

Awww Chrissy - we sound about at the same point :rotfl:

I could honestly cry today. I've really had enough :(
I've had back, boob and pelvic pains EVERY day for the last 2-3 weeks, accompanied by a sore/tender tummy, headaches and bh's on most days.
I've also had loss of fluid including yesterday around midnight and early morning which twice when I wiped after going to the loo I got a dribble of milk white - watery stuff run down the back of my hand :puke: It wasn't like I'd expect a show though :shakehead: I constantly feel wet so have been using up all my maternity pads but never get more than my usual daily discharge

Every time I ring midwife or hospital they say could be signs of early labour and to monitor it for a few hours and ring back....but I haven't (until the next day or so lol) because after my false alarm on thursday when the midwife did an internal but couldn't see OR feel my cervix....I just feel like such a hypercondriact (sp?). I'm just waiting for the contractions because I have every other synptom going but they never come :(

Bumpy has been fairly quiet the last two days. He'll wriggle in my pelvis every now and then when I change sitting position but it's taking the best part of the day to get my 10 movements. I feel completely wiped out and knackered. I've had sore dry eyes, nose and throat for several days now and I JUST WANT IT TO BE OVER :wall: :rotfl:

Hubby wants me to go to the hospital tonight and insist they check me over and maybe put me on a monitor for a bit....but I have my sizing scan tomorrow morning anyway so I'm tempted to wait. I've only had 4 movements so far today so I guess if I haven't had my 10 by the evening I may get hubby to ring up the ward and have a word with them  I'm too embarrassed and fed up to speak to them myself. I'm determined that if I don't get a REALLY painful labour I'm just gona stay at home and call the ambulance to cut the cord!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

:cheer: :cheer: Just realised I can post in this thread now! Totally nothing to report though  my wee man seems very comfy & I don't think he will make an appearance any time soon. I'm gonna start eating pineapple & spicy curries & maybe even have sex :shhh: if nothing happens soon :rotfl:

Aww Noor hope you go soon hun  I'm not at the stage where its doing my head & but I can imagine how you feel

Chrissy it sounds promising for you hun

X

Nothing to report from me either. After back ache and period pains all day yesterday, I had an hour last night of definite contractions ranging about 10 mins apart and a lot of discharge. I was getting so excited but after having some dinner, they completely disappeared and absolutely nothing since. Not even back pain today. I am sooooooo annoyed!

These babies are definitely teasing us!

  to Noor for being so fed-up. My bump has been quiet too. I would definitely get yourself monitored if you are worried, who cares what they think. Your baby is the most important thing. They could also see on the monitor if you are having early contractions so at least you know if things are happening or not. I am tempted to go myself to be monitored. I am sure if you loose your plug you are already 1cm dilated??

Hope everyone's keeping ok today! I'm just back from midwife, next appointment will be 2 days after my due date now!!! Bubs is head down, 1/5 engaged, other than that not much to report, still choked with the cold and hoping labour waits until my head is a bit clearer so I can breathe through the contractions a little easier

Everything aching but that might be because I went a little crazy this morning and painted the kitchen and ceiling! Was bugging me as OH had started it the other day but it needed another coat so I decided to get stuck in! He came home early for lunch though and caught me half way through the skirting board glossing, unimpressed with my non-resting - asked midwife though and I'm free to paint all I like! :D

Been at hospital for monitoring 4pm-6pm  :)

Bump is fine. Got 9 movements in 25mins and the only reason I came off so early was because those 9movements where him kicking the pads off!! LOL! :rotfl:
Admittedly he was pretty still and unresponsive for the first 10-15mins but they think he was probably asleep. He certainly made it spike up and down once he started moving  Heart beat ranged from 109 to 140+ but averaged out at 124 when he wasn't wriggling.

Machine also registered 2 contractions :cheer: Although I know 2 small ones in 25mins isn't really THAT good lol

They checked my cervix and could actually see it today...but it's still closed :talkhand:
Took a swab of the discharge I've been having but don't think it's anything to worry about as there isn't tons of it.

I was speaking to one of the midwives after monitoring about how I felt and that a few midwives I'd spoken to over the week had said it sounded like early labour but that I was peeved nothing had happened yet  She advised me that all the symptoms and shitty feelings I have are perfectly normal and unfortunately they can go on for a while, so if they've been getting worse since wed then hopefully at this point I'll only have a few more days to go  *fingers crossed*

Hi guys! Here is my update:

I went for monitoring this evening and baby's heartbeat and movements are fine. Doc checked the placenta and amniotic fluid and has informed me that the placenta has reached full maturity (calcification) and the baby needs to be out within a week.

So.... if he has not made an appearance by next Sunday @ 12 noon, I have to call him, and I will be sent in to be induced. This is NOT going to happen though, I am staying positive and I just KNOW baby will show up naturally in the next couple of days... Come on baby....

On the bright side, I know for a fact that I am going to meet our LO within one week and this is really nice to know. :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

Still same pains... pooing a lot, lots of wind, swollen everything!! Oh the joys..... :D Doctor has told me to massage my nipples for one to two hours, three times a day!!! Like... who has time to do this????? :rotfl: Has anyone ever tried this?

How is everyone else doing??

Noor - seems like you had a similat day to me... with monitoring and cervix checking!!

Lynsey - I agree, why are our babies tormenting us???

Peanut - hope you feel better soon...

Louxlouxbelle - welcome!! :cheer:

Chrissy - damn you and your jelly :rotfl: Only kidding of course... delighted for you.

Charlotte - hope you are right, that would make my day!!! 17th October would be perfect...!

Noor -   sounds like you definatley need a few hug huni. I know how you're feeling though. I did nothing but cry yesterday!!

Ani - Whoo hoo for you getting your baby within a week :cheer: :cheer: . That's great news. Hopefully your baby will come of it's own accord before you need to be induced. Glad to hear both yours and Noors babies are doing well after being monitored.

As for me......... well, I've now Definately lost my plug :cheer: :cheer: :cheer: I had more of the pinky jelly stuff last night and more pinky wetness on the tissue when I wiped this morning but last time I went the loo I got half way there and felt something coming out of me and I thought it was my waters going but when I got to the loo I wiped and there was loads of jelly with blood mixed in it, :puke: :puke: I know but stil :cheer: :cheer: :cheer:

I've been having pains on and off for a few days now and since that happened this morning I've had one or two pains that have made me need to stop what I was doing so I'm hoping that things are starting to move for me now. I've not bothered timing the pains yet because they are definatley more than 10 minutes apart so if they start to get closer together I'll start timing them.

I've got my 39 +1 week MW appointment this afternoon so I'm going to ask her if she can check me over and see if she can tell is something is happening

wish me luck that it doesn't stop

sounds very promising hun..

sorry to ask tmi question, but how much "plug" was there?

on monday morning i had about 10p coins worth, but nothing since :(

hope your m/w will tell you some good news when you go to see her..

how long are your pains lasting? xx

Oooh Chrissy how exciting :cheer: :cheer: I really hope this is it for you.

I wish I had something more exciting to report but nothing except the same period pains.

Oh wow Chrissy!!!!
Think I lost quite a bit of plug this morning - no blood in it though. Was tidying up when I felt something wet and sticky at the top of my legs. Put my hand down and loads of jelly was there!!!!!
Went to the loo last night and I'm sure there was some blood stained gunk in the bowl after!!!!
No pains or anything since though
Going to see consultant this afternoon - let's see what they have to say- hopefully something promising!!!

Aww Chrissy I've got my fingers crossed for you

Good luck to all the other ladies with promising symptoms as well :cheer:

I've just got back from my growth scan today :)
Bumpy is fine. Measuring 37cm at 39wks which is about right as I'm only slim and fairly short myself so they don't expect me to have big babies  She plotted all the measurements on the graph and we come up along the average size line on every one :cheer:

We also confirmed that bumpy is definately a boy!
It was nice seeing him again...great big mahooosiv blob that he is

Now to wait for him to make an appearence :shhh:

Hi girls

Absolutely nothing to report on me today - grr! :wall: Still loosing tiny amounts of my plug when I wipe. It has been a week now of losing bits every day. After having bad back pain and period pain on Monday, I have had nothing at all since then. Feel so swollen down below.

Ani - how exciting that you will be meeting your LO within a week. I am sure things will go naturally for you soon.

Chrissy - sounds like things are definitely moving for you. Hope your appointment goes well. Let us know what she says

Noor - glad your little boy is well and that you are feeling better after being monitored.

Solo - hurrah for your plug loss!!! :cheer:

Peanut - I am with you about not resting! I have been trying to walk everywhere at the mo to help things along. Hope your kitchen looks nice!

I just want my waters to go!!!!!! then at least I know something is happening without analysing every pain. Hope someone has some good news soon
