I just spoke to the reflexologist and she has advised me to get Rosemary Essential Oil and burn it. She said this is so stimulating that it is not advised to be used before you are full term. Worth a shot...

ohhhhhhhhh! oh blimey i keep thinkin of it meself but the idea terrifies me in all honesty and i think it does OH aswell mission and a bloomin half eh! The rosemary oil is very interesting though! thanks for that hun think will get some and give that a go - am really interested in these natural induction methods cos i not allowed synthetic induction drugs. Gonna give EPO a try too i thinks

Pah!

The shower helped ease off the pains in the end. I had a few more bouts again today but no 'action'

I still feel really hormonal and was almost begging hubby not to go to work 2moro
He's already got 20th onwards (for 2 weeks) booked off as holiday in the hope bumpy will arrive on time and then he was hoping to add his 2 weeks paternity on after that (- especially if bumpy's late )...so 2moro is the last day he has to go to work but I just really feel like I can't cope on my own 2moro whether I end up going into labour or whether I get even more frustrated that nothings happening

Ended up having a cry upstairs earlier over 1million and 1 different silly things.

My father in law just arrived to the UK this morning (and is obviously staying with us) but I don't feel like I can discuss preganacy things with him - so to all intents and perposes I need my hubby

* He says he'll take the day off if I can give him a good enough excuse for his manager...but as much as I want him to stay home I can't bring myself to getting him to lie and say I'm going to hospital or I'm having regular contractions etc

been having loads of branstons all through the night and back ache and period pains but all in me left hand side managed to cosy up to OH's arse a while ago which was lovely and warm and right in the middle of me back which helped but then he moved TUT! gonna go on the scrounge for a hot water bottle today me thinks...

aww fly i hope things progress for you hun, my symtoms have gone, monday i thought it was all going to happen, now i think hes staying put till christmas lol..

Hope everyone is feeling ok today! Only 7 days til my due date! Can't believe it! Getting naggy period pains still, particularly when I move position in bed but think it's more due to the weight of LO than the start of anything. Had loose bowels thursday and friday which I though might be the start of something but nope, have a feeling LO will stay tucked up for a whiley yet!

Surprisingly I don't feel impatient (yet!) OH is though! Bringing home pineapple for me everynight and desperate to meet our little person!

For all you girls waiting, over the weekend, I tried:

- acupuncture
- reflexology
- rosemary essential oil burning

Seems to have worked. Sherlock is my text buddy, will text her and let her know when I get to the hospital.

Hi girls,

Just about to post in 3rd tri but I had my baby! My waters went on Friday evening and with just 3 hours of labour and only pain relief at 8cm, I gave birth to my son at 1:40am on Saturday 18th October He weighed 7lbs 4oz and is called Nathaniel.

Looks like the rumpy pumpy on Friday morning worked for me!!!!!

iv been getting lots of BH but some have been accompanied by period pains so i feel my body is getting geared up for it all tho no signs of labour. got hospital visit today so if anything happens ill be in the right place

please dont think i'm disgusting lol..

but my and OH had abit of "rudey cuddles" lol last night, and i just went loo and there was loads of clear mucus.. BUT i havent had bath since we had rude cuddles, so i keep thinkin it could possible be his "lil men" lol..

but normally they'd be clear or whitey liquid lol.. not turn to jelly like... but you never know its been a while lol..

what do you girls think (sorry to post this at dinner time lol) xx

I think i'm gonna collar OH for some rudey cuddles tonight

I've had silly amounts of energy today cooked up a massive pot of sausage casserole and made an apple crumble.. think that was my nesting thingy - been bouncing on me space hopper all arvo as all the uprightness this morning seems to have shifted things down a notch or two again and am now gettin period pains n backache but dunno if the backache is cos i was on me feet all morning or what pffft this waiting malarkey sucks
