News post for Labour signs for 37 weeks +++ ladies

Any signs for you today Nicky? Perhaps all our LOs are just pacing themselves, we can't have all of us popping on the same day - imagine how confusing that would be  Third Tri would be pandemonium :D

Nothing since Tuesday, not even the heavy period like pain.
Had too many chillis last night, and out for a curry tonight too.

Hope your curry is working Nicky :D

My curry experience was a disaster :( I ordered the chicken tikka jalfrezi and whilst serving it up earlier I licked the curry juice off my finger (I was slightly annoyed to find it wasn't a dry curry) and promptly gagged - I have never tasted anything so hot  So all I've had is a couple of papadoms and a garlic nan

On a slightly different note my back pain is really awful, I am staggering from the pain and can't walk properly. Can't work out whether this is PGP related or labour related. Heavy fangita stabbings are happening too. Also I was reading earlier that you can tell ewes are about to go into labour because their lady bits really swell up, not sure whether it is the same for us ladies but mine is very puffy - more so than last week

And although these signs all sound quite encouraging, my mental state seems to have reverted to the 'arrgh I'm not ready yet' panic mode. Oh where is my calm and laid back attitude

LOL, bless! I ate faaaar too much, but probably not as spicy as I should have :/

No symptoms, but my stomach is sooooo full! Lets hope we are like ewes, might have to have a lil look ;) eww.

Good luck with the pains, I hope they're not PGP.

Ah I see you are trying to force her out by filling your stomach  Very sneaky ;)

As for having a look, I had to have a feel - looking down there is way beyond me at present

Just got up to eat more nan bread as am so sore it was painful to lie in bed. Also have been getting weird stabby pains which kind of feel like someone holding a knife in my stomach and poking it down into my ladybits every now and again. Nothing regular but interesting as it is a new pain :D Hoping nothing happens until morning though as OH ate the jalfrezi I couldn't eat and now says his lips are on fire and that he doesn't feel very good

Oooh yay! It could be the beginning Clare :D

Last night was the most painful night of my pregnancy. Turning over in bed was so painful as was getting up and going for a wee :( Still getting stabby pains but only fleetingly along with my entire pelvic region aching. I'm assuming this isn't labour on the basis that my pains are either constant or irregular and the fact that they say you would know if you're in labour. I'm starting to get a bit pissed off with this wishy-washy non-labour stage. I think I'd prefer no signs so I could at least enjoy my last days in comfort.

 i keep getting those sort of pains too but i dont think they're labour related, i pretty sure u know when u are though, because i defently did last time... but still wondering about every little niggle i get this time, you'd think i would have learnt

Yay i can write in here too!! Nothing from me, although saw my midman in the wk as been feeling a lot of pressure between my legs, and baby is 3/5 engaged!!! Does that mean he may arrive early??

xx

Sorry you had such a bad night, hope you get some serious napping in during today to catch up on the sleep

I must admit I'm totally with you about getting pissed off with feeling rubbish - I'm honestly in no hurry for LO to come out if she's not ready but I just wish I could do something other than be grumpy, tired and uncomfortable! I'm a joy to live with right now, let me tell you :rotfl:

My labour signs are basically irregular painful BH/contractions and constant achey/period pain like pains (at the bottom of my bump usually). I've decided that for me at least they mean nothing. Due date today but I'm guessing LO hasn't marked it in her calendar!

Mrs_Jay: sounds quite promising if you're losing bits of your plug already! Hopefully means you won't go overdue?

Anyway, labour dust to everyone who needs some - sleep and a nice break from the pain to everyone else... ;)

im betting on my due date like my DS i think i started losing a bit of plug with him round about now too
Hope LO doesnt keep you waiting too far past ur due date

I tried rubbing Clary Sage Oil over my bump last night and it did absolutely nothing!!!

I'm still getting the same little niggles as before but no worse.

I'm getting a sweep on wednesday though so fingers crossed that helps things along!!

Bunnymom fingers crossed for your sweep :D

Clare your kids sound very punctual, good due date babies :D

Thanks Taika  Hope things start to happen for you soon. I really want to see a picture of your LO in the box/crib that the government provided for you :D

I've had a nice sleep all afternoon so am feeling much more rested now. Still feel like I could sleep more though so may carry on napping now :)

I'm amazed by how slowly time has passed since my due date. It feels like an eternity, although all these forum babies popping left, right and centre has been a good distraction :D

All pains have intensified today but as there is no regularity to them I figure they have bugger all to do with labour and are probably just me being a big wuss  Have slept loads again today and still feel very tired. Am eating pineapple now and tried sex this morning but to no avail, hope some of you other ladies are having better luck :D

Aha, my first official post in this thread!

Nothing to report, I think  Just the usual niggles :) Had a couple of BH's but no more than usual. Baby's head feels quite low, can feel her wiggling around in my pelvis which feels pretty odd but nothing out of the norm sadly!

I have a feeling these next few weeks are going to be the longest ever  I want this baby now, I'm tired of waiting lol I'm so excited to meet my daughter!!! :cheer:

Mildly - I CANNOT wait until you have lil Oscar! :cheer: I'm so excited for you!!!

Nothing from me over here apart from the normal random aches and pains. Nothing new or regular. I'm starting to think she's never coming out.. all this time counting down and now I'm wondering if I'm really actually pregnant - maybe I'm just been putting on some weight?

Yep, I'm losing it!

Hope you're all doing well - hang in there girls!

Yayy,

I can officially post in here now...... I'm losing track of which of us have already popped since their last posts there seem to be ladies in labour everywhere!!

I really thought bubbs might be making an early appearance last night :cheer: as I had a clear out yesterday day time (TMI sorry!) and felt odd twinges and BH's all day, then from midnight to 6 am this morning every 20 mins had the most powerful contractions I have felt (they were 50 times tighter and more painful than braxtons) I couldnt sleep through them and it felt like someone was squeezing my thighs, tummy, bum etc everything! Like terrible period pain with tightening.....I struggled to stand up during one which hit mid route to the loo for a wee and ended up sitting on the bathroom floor after for 5 mins tryign to compose myself........

Then as soon as the buggers were finished keeping me awake all night they stopped suddenly and not any since this morning, had the fab fanjita stabbing pains doubling me over like a gobshite all day today, I'm sure shes just sitting in there laughing at me whilst head spinning on my cervix..... It's so tiring...........

Lost my plug 3 weeks ago so been sort of expecting it to start early in a way, knowing my luck I will be like this for the next 5 weeks and they will have to go in and get the little madam......

I want to meet you baby!! Make your mind up!!
