News post for Labour signs for 37 weeks +++ ladies

well, im aching tonight, nothing/nowhere specific just aching all over.
i'd like to be in labour in this cool wet weather than in hot and sticky weather... but sods law ill prob go in a heatwave or summat!

well it's my due date today and i'm in agony.

my back is killing, bump is really sore, lots of pulsing pain above my lady bits in my pelvis and now my left hip has 'popped' which is making anything i do even more painful.

i hope with my fingers and toes crossed that something happens soon cos i don't think i could take anymore of this. :(

i'm going to walk up into town later and see if that'll do anything......

Guess what I'm going to write for today's report...

I think she's clinging on for dear life in there! She's probably handcuffed herself to my rib cage!

Just waiting now... Waiting patiently... Waiting, waiting... Waiting again... Still waiting... :bored:

xx

:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: danniii.. haha

Mildly - I know what you mean about oscar wanting to come out the way he should not - I have similar wrigglings going on except they no longer feeling sweet wriggles - I have full blown earthquakes (tummyquakes) .. I am looking at my tummy in amazement wondering which gremlin got in there? Fun fun fun - 16 days to go and then some? aaah

Hanti-boo - hope you have some relief - c'mmon bubba..out you come, its good weather for it...

vix I know what you mean about the weather...I am thinking exactly the same...

well ive woke up and im still aching all over, didnt get to bed till gone six thanks to me tossing and turning.
my bump is sore, hips, down below  , my bum/bottom of my spine and my shoulder (due to the way i have to sleep) grrrrrrrrrrr! :wall: if it wasnt so bloody sore I wouldnt mind this waiting around bit but it DOES hurt and i DO mind!

 does anyones underneath hurt when they cough? just a question as my gets shooting pains, wondering if its normal, hey maybe if i sneeze baby will fly out! :rotfl:

Don't worry Danni nothing at all for me either!!

I have got lots of clear discharge, not sure if that's anything?!! :?

Xxx

Nothing for me- had my 41 week appointment today (early cos of the bank holiday) and she checked to see if she could do a sweep and told me my cervix is still pretty much closed so did nothing. Was sooo embaressing though cos I do this weird thing and laugh when I'm in pain so was in hysterics on the table :rotfl:  Wonder if i'll be the nutter in labour wetting myself laughing instead of screaming?!

Been out with OH today for one last day together on our own. Our son was at nursery so one of the last chances we had to soend some time alone. Only went window shopping and had a lovely lunch but it was really nice, just the two of us. Anyway, have had some pretty major pains while walking about, and they became quite regular at one point so started to monitor them. Was getting one every 15 minutes by 2pm and some of them hurt! :(

We headed home shortly after 2 though to pick our son up from nursery and everything died down in the car on the way back. Feel quite disappointed tbh, thought I might have been getting somewhere :wall: Have since been to my midwife appointment and begged her to do a sweep as I am so uncomfortable but she wouldnt do it cos Im not 40 weeks yet  I did have a few more contractions while in there though, and baby is right head down now with only a fraction of her head still palpable so really could go anytime

Having a good bounce on my ball now and gonna jump OH later for a bit of action, see if we cant get things moving!!  Hopefully wont need my next appointment but if I do go over, have been booked a sweep at home on 31st August, will be 41 weeks. Praying that lil madam will make her own way before then though... :bored:

still aching and having trouble sleeping.
.....TMI alert....
i really cant stop pooing, its not a case of the runs as its solid  is this a sign???

This is a very, very scary thing to ask, but can I join you all in here now?

I'm thinking everything and nothing is a sign at the moment - I've had a few twinges and occasionally what feels like an upset tummy but honestly I don't feel like she's about to make an appearance :bored:

Anybody got anything more exciting for today?

Nothing for me - See my thread about my MW appt. Looks as though she's nowhere near making an appearance anytime soon

Taika: Of course you can join us! :cheer: Don't have anything planned for today, apart from trying to get out of my bad mood

I've had a huge case of the sneezes since last Monday and I do think to myself 'if I do that again Tiddler will shoot out across the room'. I'm also one of those people who can't sneeze just once, I have to sneeze 3 or 4 times in one go. lol

Ian (hubby) told me I'm no longer allowed to text or phone him at work unless I'm in labour cos it's not just him on edge now, but all his work colleagues too!

As for pain I'm in a lot of it!
My back is even worse today, it's sore from half way down my ribcage right down to the bottom of my bumcheeks (sorry).
My hip is still hurting on my left side more than the right. It popped again last night and hasn't been so bad since.
Bump is rock solid and baby seems to be sitting mainly with their back down the right hand side with their feet hooked up under my left ribs.
** oooowwww - i just sneezed again!!**

Also last night i started to become slightly incontenent(sp). I first thought it was my waters but waters shouldn't smell like wee-wee lol.

I'm in a slightly better mood today. I spoke to my cousin last night. She was due on the 10th and ended up having little DJ on the 15th the day before she was booked for her sweep. I'm booked for a sweep on Friday so I reckon Thursday could be the day.
And on a last lighter silly note - Ian's workmates have started a sweepstake for when I'm gonna pop!! So they've all started with the "keep your legs closed til friday", "go for a run then you'll pop tonight", etc.

Going for a bounce now as thats the only way I can get comfy for any length of time.

p.s. sorry for the long post!

I have felt awful this morning, had a bad nights sleep and then heartburn from hell wouldn't leave me alone whilst I was trying to nap this morning! Keep feeling sick and shattered and just can't get comfy. Pretty sure these aren't signs though however the thought of feeling like this for another 4 weeks is making me want to cry!

Morning Ladies!

Well, not a lot going on today, back is still bad, my pelvis is now just achey more than anything more.

I keep getting twinges in the lower part of my bump but they only last a few seconds. :( They're close together though.

Had a pretty good nights sleep last night, even had DH snuggle up for a huge chunk of the night, not had that for ages!!

Also so had a dream that I was in hospital having baby and that two came out not one! A Boy and a Girl!!

I'm excited, baby should be here very soon, just need things to progress into labour now............

Now I know I'm only 37 weeks on friday....but....

TMI alert...

This morning when I went to the loo I had a few chunks of yellow very stringy discharge come out. It wasn't bloody.

I'm kind of waiting to see if anything else comes out.

Is this my "show"???

Scared now....

I've had that... Mine was a bit lumpy, and the texture of the glue on pritt stick :puke:

When I told my MW, she said it was just discharge unfortunately, not a show

Hmmm.. Are you going to say you have any signs? If you are, then NO. You can't :shakehead:

LOL

Of course you can! :cheer:  x
