News post for Labour signs for 37 weeks +++ ladies

I'm even beginning to hate this thread........lol, everyone seems to be getting somewhere except me.

My midwife was wrong, now all signs of baby coming have gone, guess the sweep was making me have all the signs yesterday, building up my hopes to wake up this morning feeling fine.

I know the feeling. lol. Thought I would go out for a brisk walk to try and speed things up and it has had the opposite effect. Midwife is gonna pop round saturday and see me. I am going to sleep till then and try and forget about the fact that I thought labour had started!!!

Well I've had horrendous back pain today and yesterday (which I'm pretty sure is PGP related) coupled with period pain which was worse yesterday and also a really heavy sore bottom of my bump. However I don't think any of this, although it does sound somewhat promising, has anything to do with labour and therefore I am sulking about being uncomfortable as it is spoiling my last few pregnant weeks

I have been packing my bag today just in case though but don't worry I don't think I'm going to be queue jumping. Hope things start up again for you Tadpole and Miss Sara

Looks like i lost al my plug this morning ( its huge and EWWWWW) had to make OH go to work he thought that was his get out of work free card, NOT A CHANCE, ive learnt from you ladies that losing the darn plug means Nothing......... It could still be induction for me!!!

Same here! Thats my only sign that theres a baby on the way- I was hanging out of the windows yesterday trying to clean the outsides as if anyone but me will notice that when baby is here- i doubt I'd even notice!

Woke up at 5am with back pain, had a poo and it subsided then got up at 9am and kept getting back cramps every 7-15 minutes. Got all excited, had a bath and they've now stopped for the past hour .

Still bad period pain (I put it down to engaging pain rather than labour pain though). Oscar is wriggling about in there like he's running out of room so that probably isn't a good sign as don't babies go a bit quiet for the last couple of days?

So in short nothing but uncomfortableness

Still pregnant...intermittant back pain, lots of bloody gloop, and she is now so low it feels like she is going to drop out whenever I move. (I should be so lucky ).

Midwife hopefully round later to have a check on things, see if I am any further dilated.

Seem to be adding more symptoms everyday but still no progress! Have been having regular strong BH for days now and laods of pressure downstairs but then all stops when I try to ease it off a bit. Just warming up I think! Yesterday also had horrible backache and now today have started with period like pain as well. Still not powerful enough to make me think things are starting, but strong enough to stop me in my tracks and make me breathe through it sometimes. I had this for about a week before I had my first baby though, so am fully expecting to still be here moaning next weekend!

Going out shopping with my mum today, so hopefully all the walking will step things up a bit Definitely starting on the curries and pineapples as of today, and might even jump on OH later! Just wish it would either get going or go away completely, hate being in limbo!

I was sick last night after ONE (kind of..) painful contraction... Then zilch!!

Feel good as new this morning so obviously it meant nothing! x

Nothing for me either There will be some disappointed people today cos Jacob came a week early and lots of people thought LO would too!! I don't even feel like she is ready to come yet!!

thought id join as im over 37 weeks,
lately i feel like i have a ball between my legs and walking makes me laugh/cry laugh because i think im walking like john wayne and cry cause it hurts EVERYWHERE!
last 2 midwife appointments ive been measuring large for dates, but thats settled a bit at one point i was measuring 5 weeks ahead but its stayed at 40 weeks, and im 3/5 engaged.
I went to the pub yesterday with peter to watch the Liverpool game and he was like a guard dog around me cause the pub was dead busy. his friend asked me how long we had left and i was when i replied 'about 3 weeks' haha I convince myself there's ages yet... cause we're waiting for the apartment to go through... thats a different story that!
I've had a few false alarms where I think 'ooooooooooo... is this it?!' then nothing just strong BH or a food baby
Ive had to put a notice on my facebook stating that I havent had the baby yet and when i do ill be letting everyone know! cause i got fed up getting messages to the effect of 'have you pop'd yet... you've been pregnant for ages'
My dad is hysterical he thinks every call is THE CALL and gets my brother or peter to baby sit me, he needs to know where i am and what im doing all the time... and who im with,he was never like this when i was younger maybe he's making up for lost time. even his work mates ring him and say 'has she had it yet'... marvelous! he has a routine before he goes out, wether it be to the shops, his girlfriends on the ale or to work, 'you've got no pains, twinges or niggles that are unusual? peters picking you up/coming around when he finishes work isnt he? Ive told liam to stay in but if he needs to go out to let you know and if you go out he goes with you... now any developments ring me it doesnt matter what time of day or night...' bless him like but 3 more weeks of this ill go mental...
Peters laid back about it all cause i am his attitude is 'when you panic vicki ill panic with you'
today is great no aches or pains and im going for a carvery roast with peter! yahooooo

I am SO uncomfortable now,
Can't breathe proper anymore!
I have enormous pressure on my lady bits like baby is going to fall out everytime I stand up
Been having regular and uncomfortable BH for just over a week, they get more intense and I keep waiting for them to develop into something more, but they never do.
Also got constant back ache and period pain now that nothing seems to ease (hot baths, water bottle, back rub, )

No sleep last night as i was in and out of bed peeing, and being sick, i've got horendous heartburn and my bump is rock solid!


I'll try my best to up date in here from now on - I'm due TOMORROW!!

I am finding myself having a permanent loo seat attached to my back because I need to pee so often but when I go and pee I have a couple of droplets. So starting to get fed up of this feeling of a full bladder - and night time is even worse..waking up every hour almost.

I even got called a penguin by DH today when we went out to the shops so I think I have started my funny walk! Feel like the baby will pop out but I havent had any back or period like pains yet! I think I will be about a week late..lets see!

Nothing much to report for me. I seem to be very tired and sleeping loads during the day although that is probably because I spend all night weeing too

Back pain is still there but period pains appear to have eased off which is nice because it means I'm a bit more comfortable. Oscar is wriggling like crazy still and it feels like he is running out of room. I get the feeling he doesn't understand exactly what he's meant to do in order to be born and will try to burst out through my stomach instead
