~*NEW*~ 37weeks + Labour signs, advise and hugs thread

Yes congratulations Amy

Any news from Lisa today????

Mel is up at the hospital as we speak I think - her waters went last night - was talking to her online at 5.30 ish and she was so calm she amazes me :D

Nothing to report here - everything has stopped big time...... no more plug, no more pains and I would even go as far as to say he has disengaged, he feels as if he is trapped under my left rib!!

Morning Jane,

Think it might just be us on this thread today. Sorry to hear things have stalled, I'm not really getting anywhere fast either. Think these wee boys like to tease their mummies. I just keep thinking that it can all change so quickly, we could go into labour anytime.

Not seen Lisa on since yesterday, so taking that as a good sign. She could even have her LO by now. How exciting!!

Thats brill that Mel was so calm, not sure how I'm going to be when the time comes, but I don't think I'll be that good.

Hope something happens for us today

Emman24 how scary is it that its our turn!!!

Cant wait now but not into racing - I'm more of a grab each others hand and make it over the finish line together type of person :D :D :D

Will keep on checking on everyone - wonder how many babies we can have in 24 hours :D

Are you having any signs?? I haven't had a single sign today, think the baby is a bit too comfy.

 welcome honey - we need a few new faces, most of them have gone off and had their LO's

thanks jane

hope you don't have to wait too much longer either x

Good luck for Wed. That would be great if you could get a date soon. I've read about OC, sounds horrible. I'm hoping I won't go too overdue. My hosp lets you go 2 weeks over, so you could end up having your LO before me!!

Hello!

Woohoo! If the Third Tri board is the departure lounge this must be the little tunnel to the plane!

How are you all doing?

I am so so huge and can't stop eating, it's so bad. I've no signs or anything and I don't think it's engaged although I think it keeps doing test runs by going down and coming up again...?

My 95 year old Nan and I went for lunch with my Mum the other day and there were fixed seats at the table- it was hilarious getting the two of us in them, not sure who was the worst! She kept saying "don't laugh too much love or you'll wee yourself!" how right she was!

I don't so much get kicks now as huge nudges or rounded movement, sometimes it's dead painful, how about everyone else?

Cake all round!

Well i'm still here :wall: Was due on 30h Jan

Havent been on for a few days as finding it really stressful & just want baby out & needed a break so tried to keep occupied with dvd's etc as everytime i log on to my emails or facebook ppl are saying any news and I have reached the stage where I want to shout back "If i had any news i would bloody tell you"

I am not normally like this I am a happy go lucky person but now i feel on edge all the time and just want baby to make an apperance - I am praying it wont be much longer

Sorry for the winge I see a few babies have arrived whilst I have been off including mel's at last so not many of us left in here now!

Hope you are all keeping well in the snow
xxxxxxx

Hey

Really hope something happens for you soon Lisa-Marie. Has your MW done a sweep yet? That might get things going. I know what you mean about everyone asking, it gets really annoying.

Rosebay - think there is maybe about 5 of us here waiting. I know what you mean about not being able to stop eating, I'm the exact same. I'm starving all the time just now. My LOs movements have changed recently too, theres hardly any kicks, I just get big bits poking out, I think they run out of room towards the end.

I've been having really strong BH tonight, they are by far the most painful yet. I'm hoping they will either stop soon so I can go to bed or turn into full blown contractions. My DH decided to go to bed so he obviously isn't too concerned :wall: :wall:

hello!

 to lisa marie! its not too long for you now!!

 to everyone else too! i see my specialist in a couple of hours! hopefully to get my induction date for next week,i feel excited and scared all at the same time!

Good luck clairebear - hope you get good news today honey

No signs for me today - had a really rough night with pains every 30 mins or so that we painful enough to wake me up but then at 6.00 am I fell asleep and woke up 10 minutes ago!!! Typical.... I am getting myself in a state now as my DH has got to work this weekend as its their busiest weekend of the year and everyone is delivering somewhere - he is in Kent Thurs and Friday and then on Saturday he will be leaving the house at 4.00 am ish and not getting back until 10.00 pm ish.... I got all upset last night and said so horrible things to him about not wanting to be around when the baby is born and basically being overemotional :( In all honesty he needs to do it - we need the money (we are both self employed) but I am terrified he will miss it...... Sorry mini rant over :( Going now to eat a large box of chocolate brownies to make myself feel better.....

That's pants Jane :( hope the Brownies helped. I hate the uncertainty of not knowing when...

My son woke up with the worst nappy I've ever seen this morning, I had thought that the tummy upset was fixed but my Dad (well meaningly while I had a nap) gave him some cream cheese yesterday and milk always sets him off when he's a dicky tum- he'd been on biscuits for two days and things were firming up nicely. Boo. So no playschool for him and lots of grumpy toddler entertaining for me, hey ho!

Moan over!

hello!
got my induction date today!
its next wednesday 11th feb!!
excited and scared!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo hoo!!

1 week to go, 1 week to go!

Quick- go out for a meal with your OH every night while you can! (Can't think of any other "fun thing" that is actually possible at this stage when people tell you to enjoy your last few days without a newborn but this is what my OH and I missed until baby was old enough for people to not be too scared to babysit!)
