Mucus plug?

I know the holster's just put a thread up abit like this so im sorry for gatecrashing her's!

For the past 2 weeks my discharge has been getting thicker and stringier but i thought thats just part of pregnancy. Well i've just been to the loo and sorry if tmi but in my knickers was a green/yellow glob, looked the size of a 10p and sorry again tmi i felt it and it felt like children's silly putty stuff! My discharge throughout pregnancy has been soft whereas this was abit harder, it didn't look like my normal discharge!

Could it be the plug??

sounds like it lovely i had the same yesterday and tmi mine had a yellow tinge to it and it was alot thicker like you have described!!

No idea! My plug/show was thick but streaked with blood, not green/yellow. Sorry I'm no help!

I hope it is Louise! I know it doesn't mean much as to when labour will start but at least it means my bodies gearing up! I know with lacey i didn't have blood until labour but i can't remember what the plug was like!

I presume it's your plug Hun. I started losing mine last Friday..mine was more browny discharge though with like bits of snot in it (sorry!) lasted over the weekend too!

well with my first i had it a week before she arrived so you never know your closer to your due date then me , all pregnancy are so different
but like you said at least you know your body is getting ready!!! dont be surprised to have more i had the same last monday but was clear and then loads more last night!!

Emma, it was like a big blob of snot like when you've got a really bad cold!! Had no browness in it though! I hope it was my plug!

Sounds like it but last time mine has blood in it - too be honest I forgot about losing that!!

sounds like it is the start of losing the plug. there can be quite a lot of cervical mucus up there to dislodge which could take a while before it gets to thelast bit i.e. the plug. but it is definately the right direction your headed in now
