MC and WTT

Hi Everyone

I am new to this forum, unfortunately I had a Missed Miscarriage at 12 weeks two weeks ago.

I am still coming to terms with everything but I know more than ever now how much I want to be a mum.

I am so scared TTC again but its all I can think about

Has anyone else tried straight after MC?

Hiya...sorry for your loss.

We waited a couple of months but more for timing with our wedding. Had we tried straight away I would have been 38 weeks pregnant at the wedding...so we waited 3 months and i was 26 weeks pregnant at the wedding.

You are very fertile after a mc.....but it's whether you are emotionally ready. Some people recommend leaving one full cycle to allow your body time to kind of get back to normal. Fingers crossed for next time xx

Thanks huni, yes I think your right one full cycle first. I am feeling excited at trying again but dont know how I would feel if it happened again, guess I need to think really positive!

Yep... It's very very common to miscarry your first pregnancy x

Im going through the same process as you. Had my ERPC on 19th February.

I was so ready to pick myself up & start again immediately. But im at a emotional barrier at the moment & willing to wait until my next AF at least. I think im hoping by then I will feel less emotional pain, in which I doubt.

I'm forum hopping but just wanted to say we waited one cycle after mmc and the first month after that and particularly as we were on holiday was all about just having fun and not actively ttc. Arrived home and af didn't arrive I was shocked, upset and excited at getting my bfp so soon. That was 6 1/2 months ago... I wouldn't change it but did really struggle at first and wondered if I should have given myself more time to get over the mmc.
