my bump is quite high too, you’ll know if it’s a bump because it will be harder than your normal stomach x

@SugaryIris I'm having identical twin boys. The sonographer took a guess that they were boys from my 12 weeks scan. Had my 16wk one yesterday and boys were confirmed!
@maythe4thbewit do you work in mental health? Only asking because I'm an RMN and don't tend to meet many of our kind around herexxx
I work in Hullmale acute x
Bought the paint to do the nursery today, going for a sky blue then will paint some clouds and we’ve got some animal on balloons wall stickers. Thinking it’s a nice dreamland type theme.
Anyone else preparing for their arrivals? X
@soffphie Window to the womb gives a free sneak peak in 4d with all their scans, we had one with our gender scan but that early, their not great pictures. Were undecided if were getting a 4d scan later on, DH wants one. I'm not sure.
@SugaryIris
We've got a Noah pod for the lounge, and a swinging crib from John lewis for our bedroom. Planning on getting a cot bed for his room then, and hopefully will move him in there at 6 months. Still need to get a 3 in one travel system and a wardrobe and things for his room. Got a load of clothes, babywipes, powders, creams things like that, been stocking up everytime we go out.
We've got two spare bedrooms, one is absolutely full of gym equipment though and the other one is the guest bedroom. Not sure what were going to do yet. Were planning on using the guest bedroom as his nursery but I dont know when were going to do it out. My parents live a few hours away and they are wanting to stay for the first few days when we bring him home to help out but if we get rid of the spare bed they wont have anywhere to sleep. And it's a small bedroom so no room to keep a double bed in there with all his stuff. And there is no room to move a double bed in the room with all the gym equipment (which I dont want to get rid of because I really miss my excercise and would like to get back into it when hes a few months old) Considering hes not going to be in there untill hes 6 months either were undecided weather to just leave it for the moment if you get what I mean?
I totally get what you mean, I wouldn’t want to give up my only guest room either, we use ours a lot. We are lucky because we aren’t using one of the rooms that we can keep the guest room and have a nursery. You’re right, the baby won’t sleep in it for months, you don’t have to do it before the arrival.
I think as soon as im out that 21 week scan im off to buy stuff haha. Hubby wants the mamas and papas atlas cot set it is lovely. I instantly fell in love with a small swinging crib in JL & Dunelm do some lovely cot bedding and curtain sets which i also cant wait to buy!!
If i went by my own O dates im 20 weeks today which means officially half way thru. Actually cant believe its 50% over!
I find the movements which im still not sure are / are not can be quite painful at times, another reason why had a scan yesterday as got paranoid pain was a bad sign. Feel a bit more relaxed now but do look forward to kick counting etc.
May dh likes the atlas set too, I quite like the Dover. I couldn’t stop dh from buying things since the 12 week scan! He was so excited. I feel like I’ve got loads but I’ve still got loads to get.
I’m thinking of breastfeeding so I need a good chair for the nursery. Have you ladies thought about breast or bottle feeding yet?
