****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

Nat your pictures are BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you for sharing, I love your wraps and you look great wearing them!
I will definitely be sure to post mine when it's here :)

Careysmummy, I sometimes get that and I have to feel my tummy to see if its gone hard or if it's just baby and quite often I can just feel that baby is there really close to the surface and thats why it feels so firm. I would imagine with 2 in there you'll be even more aware of the feeling.

When i was in hospital with pain recently they said they would only be concerned if its waves of pain, if its a constant pain or uncomfortable feeling they're not too concerned.
BUT i always say trust your instinct xx

Thanks jessie. It's definitely more uncomfortable than pain. After having a feel of my tummy there not as low as I thought, I think the heaviness is making it feel low. Think im just going to rest and take it easy this afternoon. I think they've possibly moved as it's definitely tighter than usual and like you say they could be closer to the surface now. I'll give them a ring if Im still worried later or get any pain or it gets any worse xxx

Try to rest, and drink lots of water, and see if that eases your tummy pain. I hope it does.

Thanks orion. I've decided it's definitely babies position. As the tightness is mainly around my belly button and feeling kicks in different areas tgan I was yesterday/this morning. They're just in an uncomfortable place the little monkeys. Also took my weekly bump picture and im amazed at how much bigger I look and the shapes completely changed. Id love to put them altogether to see the progress I've taken them weekly since I found out. Might have a fiddle on the computer later! Thanks for the advice ladies :) xxx

whoo hoo! Brought a cot and pram today! First purchases so very excited, at at a most fantastic price xxx

the cot is a travel one but comes with detachable changing section and bounce chair, cannot remember make, but room so small we cannot fit a conventional cot in! And the pram is city something gah! Looked at so many it is all al blurh, but got it with carry cot and rain covers etc at better than half price because local mammas and pappas is closing down

Glad to hear the hairdresser went well today with your little one Larly

I must have a look at all these baby slings/carriers you are all talking about. Silly question (sorry) from what age can you start using them?

Lovely photos Nat :-)

Caseysmummy my tummy feels rock solid today, was talking to my sister today about it and she said ‘yes that happens, but if you are every worried phone the midwife’ so going to stick to her advice, would rather phone midwife if I’m concerned and it be nothing, than not check and it be something (if that makes sense). I'm sure as others have said its just your babys moving.

Flosi we haven’t got our pram yet (although narrowed down to two now) but I know what you mean, you end up looking at so many you forget which is which.

How’s everyone this evening? xx

Yeah im pretty certain it's babies now as it's soft on a couple of areas also done a comparison pic of this week and last week and the difference is noticeable im sure it's the fact babies have moved because bump is different shape now. Xxx

I'm feeling baby move a lot more, only with having an anterior placenta they are still very soft movements, but no mistaking they are her :-) xx

Thank you :-) not a silly question at all. I think it's advised that as long as baby is above 7lbs you can baby wear from pretty much the day they are born. Having said that I have known mums of premie babies wear their little ones. I think as long as you are following the guidelines (T.I.C.K.S) and baby is safe and secure there shouldn't be a problem. Scarlett was about 6 months old when I started wearing her. She was an extremely clingy baby and they have been a lifesaver for me. I will start earlier this time having two other little ones to run about after xxx

Would you ladies who baby wear recommend going to the nct slings and napachino group. There's one in my area that meet monthly. They rent slings would it be worth renting before I buy one? Xxx

Yes absolutely!!That way you can try the massive variety of slings out there before investing any money. And you will know them what type to look for :-) xxx

Should I wait til the babies are born to join or would you go before hand? I suppose another good thing about renting one is they will show me how to use it too lol! Thanks for the advice natevz im quite excited to use one now! ! Xxx

There's no harm in popping along beforehand lovely. You never know there might be some twin mummies already there who can give you advice on tandem wearing. If not there will be plenty of people willing to help and chat to you I'm sure xxx

Ill look out for when the next ones on and pop in and have a chat with them then I think! Thank you :) xxx
