****** May 2015 Mummies to be *******

I'm sure it's nothing to worry about Mayflower. Hopefully it's just them being thorough!

Can't wait to get our nursery sorted. I can relax then! :)

Oh, the room was painted last weekend, so tomorrow will be assembly of furniture...

Mayflower, I'm sure it is nothing to worry about, as jenb says. Fingers crossed for you though! X

Mayflower that must have been really frustrating about consultant. Hope your ecg goes well.

Bigbee I think it must have been the night for it, I joked with my other half that baby was doing the Cossack dance between 12am and 2am last night, It’s only recently I’ve started feeling her move and its great, but did make me wonder if she’s going to be awake lots through the night when born :-)
Its not too early at all, we would be if we could, but I have a week off work on the 16th February, to do the nursery.

Elliott the first movements I felt were popping/gurgling sensations :-)

Thanks Jenb, sorry to hear about your GTT results, hope its something you can control, sorry don’t know much about it.

Jessie I’m more thirsty, even have to drink when I wake up through the night, and never had to pre pregnancy

Thanks Tashawinks, They have been really getting to me lately.

They thought it was amusing this afternoon to say the words ‘big gash’ and then laugh like school boys!! Didn’t let them stress me today though baby is far more important.

xx

All quiet from us May girls today, hoping that means good nights sleep all round and for some maybe even a nice lie in! (I know I did but no kids to cope with here) x

Actually can't complain, little girl got up at 6.10 and then came in with me and slept some more and little boy was up just after 7 and he played on the pad for a bit and his ds so it meant we didn't actually get up until 9 xx

Morning all

I had another terrible night's sleep, had about 3 hours max all night. When my boyfriend git up st 8am I mubbled "please don't wake me" fell back to sleep until 9.30am, so at least I had a bit longer this morning.

I have midwife appointment Monday, as I've only had booking in appointment with her, what can I expect? xx

I'm rubbish at lying in and I always wake up with hubby at 7.30 but I also enjoy my lunch time naps lol.

I'm so excited I just bought my first wrap for this baby!! EEEEK! I used one with my son and he loved being carried round in it all the time, so excited to get it and try it out with a teddy lol x

So excited for our maternity unit visit tomorrow! And the furniture is here! And its the weekend! Yey- enjoy everyone! X

Well i had a crap nights sleep, well i say sleep i really mean tossing and turning and moaning lol! urg feel so beyond crap :(

But my beautiful boy had his first cricket club todayand he stayed the whole time, hit the ball and didn't cry!! (He is beyond shy its unreal) so I am one happy mummy :)

Morning ladies. Sorry to hear a few of you didn't sleep very well last night. Glad your little boy enjoyed his first cricket club button bear. Well done to him for hitting the ball too!
What wrap have you bought jessie? Im really thinking of getting one to carry the twins, I've seen a couple of videos on YouTube about how to wear with twins but hacenta clue what sort to buy as a lot are expensive and don't want to waste money on one that doesn't work well.
Im going to see my dad today! Havingta chilled out weekend this week. Going to get my housework all done tomorrow so I can get back on top of it before I go back to work. Xxx

I bought a mei tai, they're my favourite as really comfy and not too complicated. It's a beauty as well, not sure how to get the picture up but i'l post one of me wearing it when its here lol.
Theres a facebook group for "slings and things" (I used my mums account to have a peek as im not on facebook) but theres tons of advice on there and loads of preloved ones for sale. Someone asked yesterday about tandem wearing twins actually.
I'd have no idea how you'd go about it with twins but I have seen enough pics on this page to know it can be done :)

I wanted to know what was classed as low pulse rate in pregnancy, and scared myself with stories of high miscarriage rates and baby being starved of oxygen. Now I am worrying even more! I've felt her lots today, and managed to record my tummy moving so I know she's ok, but still.

I love taking photographs, and I ordered lots to be printed from Photobox. They arrived today so going to spend the afternoon sorting through them and putting them in albums!

Hope you all have a good weekend.

I LOVE babywearing Im getting the moby this time but also love a mei tai jessie!! Tulas are geat for toddlers too!

Mayflower i have a low heartrate and pulse, as does my mum and gran, but hadnt been told of complications

I really want to baby wear this time. It also means I can be hands free to help my little boy at times. Im going to have a look I think. Then at least I can get one and start practicing with them. Are they easy to use? Xxx

Not a bad night here. Henry woke incr, I then woke twice with cramp (once in each leg!). Henry then woke at 5:40 & woildnt go back off. So when hubby woke at 7 we went & laid in my bed & fell asleep. Woke at 9! Feel so much better as thought 5:40 would be my start to the day!

Been & got Henry's hair cut too which I was not looking forward to. He screams blue murder & the hairdresser usually has to have him in a headlock lol! This time he cried but no headlock needed! Had to hold his head but no headlock! So vast improvement!

Aww larly bless him, my son always hated haircuts as well I used to have to bribe him with a lolly, toys etc and still never worked.

Careysmummy, I would say get one before twins are here because its easier to practice tying it with a teddy in it then it is a wriggly tiny baby! Once you've got used to how it goes on and tying it its really easy! They look quite daunting but choose which style you like then watch some viideos about that particular one, then just take the plunge :) the good thing is they keep their value so if you don't geton with it, someone will give you back what you paid :) x

Ooooh pictures of the mei tai please jessiecat. I picked up my new sling this week too. It's a new brand of stretchy that my nearest sling consultant has started stocking. I am so excited to use it. It's sat in my living room now just begging to be used. My slinging days with my daughter are sadly over but we had some lovely experiences. In fact I think I probably have enough variety of sling in this house to start my own mini library :-p xxx

Ooooh your own sling library, jealous!! Yes will definately post pics when it gets here, need to see your pics too :)
My hubbys excited to try baby wearing as well which I'm really excited about :)

I don't want to wait until may!!! I wonder if my cat will go in it?? Lol

Lol I'll apologise now for the picture overload. I do have a few more slings missing that I don't have pictures of atm.

They look brill! Going to get one in the next couple of weeks I think!
My tummy feels quite tight and low today. So much so im constantly checking to see if it's a braxton hicks as it's a similar feeling but constant. Hoping it's just the position the babies are in as starting to worry a little. Gonna keep my eye on it. But as long as im not in pain i shouldn't worry should I? Xxx
