hope everyone has had a good weekend, I am shattered tonight!

Hi all,

Sorry to hear some didn't have a good nights sleep again. I only woke 3 times last night and got back to sleep relatively quickly, so for me lately that's pretty good!

So glad you are feeling/seeing movements now Elliott. I am feeling little one a lot more now. Sadly other half still hasn't been able to feel her but hopefully some time soon.

I haven't confirmed my maternity dates with work yet. I have 9 days of this years holiday to use by the end of March, so have this friday booked off, a week in Feb and 3 days at the end of March. Will probably use a week or two (undecided yet) of next years holiday at the start of maternity and the rest at the end, so whilst I'm not literally counting the weeks yet. I think it must only be something like 11 or 12 weeks left. So fed up at work at the moment, so really should make a decision on dates so I can starting looking forward to it, but with other half losing work I need to work as long as possible whilst he's job hunting.

What are everyone's plans for this week?

I have midwife appointment tomorrow afternoon xx

My countdown has started blueeyes! Glad to hear you're getting feeling more movement too, hopefully OH will soon, just needs to be in right place at the right time :)

Hopefully a quiet week for me, swimming, yoga, decorators on wed & thur (exciting!) and that's about it. Hoping for a quiet ish week at work :)
X

Not got much planned here to be honest. More of the usual. School runs, see parents, in laws. Take dogs to the vets.
I've just sat and done my birth plan and put my stuff upstairs that I bought for my hospital bag xxx

Hello all, hope you had a lovely weekend. (Sorry those that have had dreadful sleep etc.)

We have been busy and I work weekend evenings so it's hard to get much else done.

I'm going on maternity at 30weeks. So only 8 weeks left yay :) I do really love my work but I know it's going to be so hard to do when I'm that much bigger.

This week I need to call up midwife and get a matb1 form sorted. But this is what's planned otherwise

Monday-Waiting in tomorrow for OHs new phone,
Tues-playgroup
Weds-going for a hot choc with another bump I met through netmums
Thursday-make cake
Friday-free!!! :)

(Thursday and Friday may be changed around all dependant on weather :) )

Went shopping today and ordered LOs new bed (he has a cotbed atm but just bought a single). It'll be coming on Tuesday. Atm he's been sleeping in the spare room because he sleeps better there. (Small double) so I'm hoping the single will be just as good.

I don't really know how to explain this...I guess my groin? Is aching. Anyone else? It's sore. :(

I hope everyone has had a good weekend.

I've been so uncomfortable for the past couple of days. Lots of pain in lower back and pelvis. Midwife gave me the number for the physio the other week, think I'll have to give them a call.

Acid reflux is still affecting me a lot too :( I'm constantly tired but I can't even look forward to going to bed because as soon as I lay down my throat starts burning, Rennies used to work quite well but I think I'll have to try something else now.

Bump seems to be getting bigger by the day. Posted a pic in the bump thread earlier. He's definitely growing! He's been very wriggly this weekend too. Hubby can feel him a lot now and my little Nephew (8) was amazed when he felt him earlier today!

xx

Hi ladies, just looking for some advice, I had tea earlier last night. Felt very full and nauseous and suffered with what I thought was trapped wind for a couple of hours, was then sick, immediately felt better for around half hour to an hour then started to feel sick again within half hour was sick again and felt better so decided to get some sleep, woke up a couple of hours later feeling very warm but not sick tossed and turned for half hour and have just been sick again?. I've been sipping water since the first time I was sick and the last time I was sick only brought up the water I had drunk. It feels a lot like morning sickness if that makes sense so was just wondering if you thought it could be that coming back. (I stopped being sick at 18 weeks) or is it likely something I've eaten or a tummy bug. I don't feel unwell in between times just not quite right and my feet and hands feels hot but feel cold everywhere else. Just struggling to keep anything in which I'd worrying me for babies sake. Xxx

24 weeks today! Wow!

12 weeks left at work! I've already had enough and I really don't want to go today, I've slept horrendously the last two nights so I am tired today :(

We collected the pram yesterday, my mum and dad have more room so we've left it there for now. I love it though, couldn't stop playing with it yesterday!

Happy v day to me and Mayflower!! :yay:

I've only got 12 weeks left at work too. Or so is the plan, my boss still hasn't taken time to discuss it properly with me despite me asking on three separate occasions! I might just wright him a note!

Sorry you're being sick Casey, it does sound like a stomach bug, I had the same last week. Luckily it only lasted 24 hours for me x

Wish I could help casey, hope you feel better and if feeling concern give midwife a call maybe for a quick chat to see what they think x

Didn't sleep well last night and this morning was feeling kicks/movement on the left side rather than right where it had always been before, I know for a lot of you movement is sort of old news now and you've had it ages but is it usual for it to vary?? (My questions on this will stop soon just wondering about other people's exoeriences)

Xx

Caseys mummy id also day stomach bug? That's rubbish hope you feel better quickly, you might find you feel quite weak today, the night couldn't have taken it out of you more than you realised at the time.

Ok so I am finally going to give in to sleeping on my back. I do sleep a little propped up with pillows anyway so I'm not completely flat but I spend the whole night waking hourly and having to haul my poor spd ridden body over to the side only to turn back the second I fall asleep again (which takes ages because I've hurt myself turning over). My hubby reassured me that if how I was lying was effecting me or baby my body would tell me, like there has been once or twice when I've felt completely breathless.

Otylher than making that decision, I've not got a lot else on today.

Elliot yes sounds normal, baby will move around a lot and certain positions will make the kicks more/less obvious.
I don't think my baby had a sleep at all yesterday, there seems to be no quiet period!

Stop worrying and enjoy it :) xx

Thanks Jess, I'm just very curious mostly haha and don't have people around that I can ask easily so I'm sorry to say you lot get all my ponderings :p xx

Caseysmummy

When I had food poisoning I was told that a small bout of tummy trouble was nothing to worry about - but mine lasted only 2 hours. However I was told that if I had a fever or was struggling to keep fluids in then I should get help. So if you're struggling to keep anything down, get an emergency appointment at your doctors or maternity unit and get checked out.

Elliot, to be honest, you're only asking the questions that everyone else does at some point so ask away, you'll probably help someone else in the process xx

Happy Vday durham and mayflower, yay!!

Sorry you're poorly casey :(

I've got nothing on today so rest for me!
