Welcome to the new May mummies to be!

I had a better day today. The consultant at the haematology clinic has decided that I don't need to go on injections at this stage but will have to for 6 weeks after birth. I was dreading having to do them every day so it's cheered me up! Ive also decided that I'm going to stay with the local community midwife team and have arranged a booking appointment for next Wednesday. I'm sorry to hear that some of you are having to wait ages for midwife appointments. Hopefully you get appointments soon.

So I spent an hour this afternoon panicking that I had no symptoms, and as if to mock me, morning sickness has hit bigtime. I have been sick 3 times since 6pm. I still feel sick, first time in my life I have been sick and not felt any better :/

Well for my early scan today ladies, wish me luck. Fingers crossed this is my 2nd miracle, My 13m old DS will be going to play at nanny's house for the duration.

As this is my 5th pregnancy I'm used to the delays with the mw, I'm actually quite surprised how many of you see a mw before your 8weeks, mine tend to do a booking in at about 8-10 weeks. By then I've had an early scan.

I've been awake since 3.30am again and feeling yucky, not quite nauseous but woozy. I had tea and toast which usually makes me feel better but it hasn't worked today.

Busy day at work today and then the weekend. I think we are going to tell our close family this weekend - I will be 6 weeks on Sunday by LMP.

Yes I was surprised how early I got mine. I was given the appt with midwife whilst in the surgery - must just be how they do it. It was first available appt so not even like it was at so many weeks. Just hope I'll still need it. As you can see I'm very optimistic about this!!!! X

My booking in is 25th sept, I'll be 9 + 4. Nervous and excited really, but everything seems such a long wait! Just looking forward to that bit of reassurance

Well had our scan, (45 mins late) baby is in the right place with a little fluttering heartbeat, showing approx 6w 3days and just the one baby.
