I'm worrying today, I don't have any symptoms any more and don't feel the same. I'm just worrying as last time at 6 weeks when I only just found out I was pregnant the digi said 1-2 weeks. So I can't wait til Sunday to hopefully see 2-3 weeks! Thinking about booking a private scan too. This is worse than the 2ww!! x

Don't worry about your symptoms going away, some people don't even get symptoms at all, at first I was starving, bloating, cramping, tired and had tender boobies, then..... nothing - all of them disappeared, I had no cramping, boobs felt ok, belly had gone down and I had my normal appetite back, now....... its all back! Everyone is different and we may all experience symptoms differently try not to worry! xox

What's the difference between a midwife app and a "booking in" app?

I only just moved house and I hadn't registered with my new doctor until yesterday - she took blood pressure, height and weight and said that the midwife will do bloods etc on Friday? xox

Here what happens is I fill a form in at docs saying I'm prego no need to have test done at docs they trust ya lol then I have to ring mw when I feel ready I will then get an app to go see mw but that is a group chat thing room full of prego woman all around 6-8 weeks mw says what u can and can't eat n do etc stuff like that then each one is called in seperatly n have a lol chat get weighed bp n I think bloods but I can't remember then I will get another app for a week or so later to do full booking in then she sends off for scan and that's it till week 14 x

Oooh I wouldn't like that group thing! What if you know someone else there or someone is a friend of a friend or something?!? Not very confidential - especially when 6-8 weeks is very much 'secret' time!

Yer I know and I know a lot of ppl round here and il bet my life it's full of teenagers I might ask to opt out if that I don't need to know about what I can and can't have I already know lol x

I'm hoping ours is not a group appointment, I've never heard of anyone I've spoke to up my way have anything like that, when booking they said she would probably just go over family history etc and we would be there about an hour or two xox

Well I don't see a midwife until I'm 11 weeks. Just phoned the number my gp gave and she asked if I was taking folic acid. I know all the thingstto avoid anyway but it just occurred to me that no one has given me any information about dos and donts!

I phoned the anti natal clinic today to chase up my booking in appointment and she said should get within another 10 days, been waiting 3 weeks already but hey ho

I reckon I'll be booked in around 10-11 weeks but should at least still get my scan on time. She mentioned about a midwife coming out to see me which is totally different to what happened with my daughter 2 years ago but we'll see I suppose

I feel great today! Probably because I felt so god awful utter crap yesterday but I'm going with it lol

That seems pretty late to me, that's just my opinion though, especially if its your first as you aren't aware of do's & don'ts.

I suppose on the other hand you wont have to wait long at all for your scan as you'll be 12 weeks soon hope everyone's appointments and scans go well!!

I thought booking in happened around 8 weeks ish always has for me even wen I had late positives they rushed it through but it's all changed now,booking in at 11 weeks doesn't give much time toget ur scan sorted does itx

I'll be booking in for my scan as I'm registered with the hospital anyway as the midwives work from there. It was 8 weeks last time for me but maybe because its my 2nd they are in no rush to do the paperwork. Or I'll get the letter early next week with only days notice of the appointment ha ha
