I'm getting af type ones but around this time of night tho I wake up to pee in the night , it's slowly sinking in with me but I'm not past af day yet that's tomoro once I get past tomoro I may relax a bit lol

Well my appointment was a little disappointing. I have a genetic condition that makes me prone to blood clots and as a result at greater increase of miscarriage. When the midwife saw that she asked where I would be having my baby. I see a haematologist at a hospital in Glasgow but that's a different nhs trust to where I stay. I had to decide on the spot whether I would be having my baby in the local hospital or in Glasgow under the care of the team that I already know. I chose to go with Glasgow as its where I know best but it means my booking in appointment will have to wait until after I see the haematologist tomorrow and then I can book in with the midwives in Glasgow. The midwife therefore couldn't book me in but we did spend some time chatting about early pregnancy and what I should and shouldn't be eating and doing as she didn't have a patient in after me anyway. I also got a lot of leaflets to take home and a book called Ready Steady Baby which I have briefly flicked through tonight and it seems really interesting so not a totally wasted appointment.

Sorry your appointment was disappointing hunny, fingers crossed one is sorted in Glasgow for you too, my wf doesn't tend to see you till you're about 8 1/2 - 10weeks which always seems to make the first tri drag longer, I'm due a call tomoz or Friday off her to book the appointment at least. Mind you they're usually only contactable between 9 & 9:30am too, which will be interesting due to my son having a heart scan tomorrow am, and I'm due my scan Friday am.

Aw I'm sorry it wasn't what you expected but at least you gained some info from it I've heard those books are really good! Hope I get one, good luck tomorrow then and hopefully it will be a better appointment for you! xox

Sorry it wasn't what u were expecting hopefully ya will soon be booked in with Glasgow team, I nearly threw up at the school again today due to the smell of the school dinner omg it smelt like BO what's that about lol it was realy realy strong then I goes to the shop on way home they do bacon buns etc I heaved again :-/ my secret is not gonna stay a secret fir long if this carries on as my friends know I've been ttc il just have to say I've got a tummy bug or summet lol wander if my digis arrive today I'm excited to do one but scared aswel even tho my lines are real strong and have progressed nicely I'm still scared its going to end :-/ nicker checking today as its af day lol xx

Oh my birthday is May 24th, maybe get to share it with some May babies (or maybe my own) I'm due 11th May - my mum was due on this date with me but I was running late as usual ha ha !! xox

I ha e a few bd in may aswel my brother bd is may 10 my mam is may 15 but I also lost my second baby on that date, my sons bd is 22nd and I'm due on that day by my calculation x

In proper stressing today! Had awful cramps last night and horrible heartburn today...is heartburn a good sign? But we've just had a guy round measuring the upstairs windows for a quote and he needed the garage door opening to get through with the ladders (we have so side gate!) I was so careful lifting it open and closing it, but found it such a struggle really. I totally strained my stomach from thinking about it too much. Now if anything happens I'll be blaming that! I'm crazy I know!!! xxx

My midwife still hasn't called to arrange an appointment but I called the doctor over a week ago : ( Is this normal or do you think I have been forgotten? Hope your all well! Xx
