I've had to officially tell work today, someone on another team started quizzing me about having another and the rest of them turned to look and I went bright red! She blurted out 'your pregnant' and I just went brighter lol
My manager knew just not 'officially' but now she does before the gossip starts lol

Got home to my booking in appointment letter for 23rd Sept so not long to wait )

Lol, I have a nice age group - year 5, so 9 to 10 year olds. Old enough to blow their own noses (theoretically), young enough to not have the lynx fug of full on puberty! And I'm lucky because I love my job but I was wondering how I'd get through the secretly pregnant bit! Coping so far - being rushed off my feet seems to stop the nausea in its tracks

Nice age right in between as ya say , I'm gonna hopefully be ringing mw Tuesday to get ball rolling and have some milestones to get to might make it go a bit quicker if I have countdowns x

Hey Jojo. I had loads of milestones with my DS, my next one is my booking in, then getting to 11w without a bleed, then 12w scan for now

Good morning ladies,

How are we all today?

I managed a sleep in till 6 am! I told my folks and brother last night. They live in Ireland so we had to do it over the phone. I think they are pretty excited, it's their first grandchild/niece or nephew. We are going to tell his folks and sister today. We are only about 6 weeks from my LMP but I know I'll want their support even if the worst happens (really wish I could get that fear out of my head).

I've still got sore boobs, a bit of cramping and I'm pretty tired but unable to sleep through. 12 weeks seems so far away for scan!

I totally understand the fear of the worst, stupidly in my first pregnancy it never crossed my mind something's could go wrong. I tell you something, I'm a lot more pessimistic with this one, I just have to take it one day at a time.

In other news my 13m old has been bad with his food the last few days, he has a cold, fingers crossed he picks up his game today x

I know that fear and its there all the time it's worse wen u have already suffered a loss cos it's asif ur just waiting for it to happen again its horrible :-/ I wish I could just enjoy it , I went to sleep last night at around 10.30 woke up just now Lolita av needed it , hope ur little boy picks up ASAP x

Everyone's getting their appointments booked! I saw my doctor 2 weeks ago and haven't heard from the midwife yet. Should I phone and nag? I'm 7 + 2 weeks!

Yeah I'd phone them! It works differently everywhere - my doctors surgery books the appointments with the midwife as that's where she does her appointments. Good luck! x

Wish these silly cramps would bugger off they are making me nervous they nothing like my af cramps but still it's making me nervous as hell, did a strip test this morning and the test line is as dark if not darker than the control so it's all looking gd still so wish I could be ignorant to things going wrong but with my history I can't help it , please ket these next weeks go fast lol xx

so glad everything went well sproglett! Congratulations corniahfairy and welcome to all the new ladies : ) I still haven't heard from the midwife and feels worse as you ddon't even get a doctors appointment where I live so I havent seen anyone yet! Guess I feel a bit crazy calling up to chase as its very early still. I have still being feeling fairly well so far except the bloat! I know you shouldn't wish for morning sickness but can't help feel it would reassure me a bit even though I know that'silly as its no guarantee. Hope you ladies are all well : )
