Maternity pads for after baby is here?

Not so much double decker, they overlapped slightly end to end, but they went up high at the front and at my bum if that makes sense? I'm rubbish at explaining, I can't believe some girls used so little pads I went through them like there was no tomorrow x

Aha yes that makes sense, I did type that out as an option but then thought that couldn't be right cos they're so long but I see :D

So silly q but do u wear the pads whilst your in labour then when babys making an appearance whip em off? Lol also do they let u go for a bath / shower straight after you have given birth to baby / placenta x

I was naked from the waist down, they examine you etc so its let hassle to just be naked lol Odhran was about 10 minutes old and the MW came in and said my bath was ready, my whole body was shaking with what must have been adrenaline and I told her to empty it because I needed to rest for a while, I think as long as u don't have an epidural you're able to get showered and bathed x

i had skin to skin for a good while then we got the baby dressed and i went for a bath about an hour or so after giving birth quick wash then back out, i didnt need that many pack tbh ive only bought 2 packs this time

The bigger the better..trust me you won't believe how heavy you bleed after. get the thickest ones you can get..with wings, and get more than you think you'll need :)

i got 2 packs of always ultra nightime ones today but was looking for maternity ones with wings. does anyone know where does them? dont like the thought of no wings. xxx

Me too just googled sainsburys do them and mothercare I think xx

Mothercare do a huge bumper pack of 48! There is a mothercare near my office and I went in today and was going to pick some up but people in my office are very nosy about what you buy on your lunch break and I didnt feel like sharing so I think that is def something to buy on mat leave!!
