Maternity Bras For The Fuller Busted Lady??

Hi All,

I am struggling to find maternity or sleep bras that fit. I am usually a 32G so ordered 2 from the debenhams website in 32GG, thinking they should fit as my boobs have grown a bit and they said they were stretchy, but they are way too small. Think i need to go and get measured but i'm worried that i have already grown a couple of sizes and they are going to grow even more over the coming months.

What are your plans with maternity bras, are you going to invest in some? Does anyone know if there are special bras out there that will last you all through the pregnancy so you don't have to keep buying new ones?? xx

I'm not sure if there are bras that grow with you throughout pregnancy, so to say... But surely at some point those boobs of ours will stop growing! Have you tried ebay? At least then it won't be too expensive, even if you end up having to buy bras in a variety of sizes.

Thank you so much for this thread. I am normally a 38G and mine have grown already. All I see when I look down is boobs! I've never really enjoyed having them as I suffer from backache as it is so these new SUPER breasts are not making things easier! I'm going to try Evans and see if they can help but there is a company called Bravissimo who stock bigger underwear so they may have something. If I find anything will let you know!!!

Think you just have to keep buying them as you grow, I need to go bra shopping again as I'm bursting out of the ones I brought around at 10 weeks. Expensive this pregnancy thing!

get nursing bras! then they will do you through the breastfeeding phase too and are just as suitable for maternity! i went to a bra specialist for mine

I just bought a maternity/nursing bra and it is amazing! I had to go from a 32C to 34DD so I would suggest you go up a size or 2 as well as cups because your chest is expanding as well as your boobs growing.

I've just bought myself a couple of these ones http://www.figleaves.com/uk/product.asp?product_ID=ELO-3912. personally I think they are the best ones I've found so far. I even found them at half the price on Ebay, so ended up getting them from there. They are so comfy and underwired as well which I can't live without. I did buy some from mothercare but they are just rubbish and I feel like I've wasted money on them. I have gone up two sizes also, hopefully won't be getting any bigger now as i'm near the end and my milk is there. Oh and they are nusring ones

Thanks for all of your replies ladies. I went to Debenhams today, to take the ones i got online back, and got myself measured by a special Maternity Bra fitter!! (Didn't even know they existed!) Discovered that i'm now a 34H - Can't believe how i've grown so much in only 11 weeks! Anyway i got a nice comfortable bra from there, tried on a few without wires but they weren't offering enough support so ended up just getting a normal but comfy bra. Debenhams seems to be the place to go. I find Bravissimo good but a tad expensive. xx
