Hi

Yey tri 2!!! Can you please change my due date to march 1st?

Thank you 😊 xx

Quite a few of us 1st March Mummies!

Happy days to tri 2 and a bit of a relief as well! Almost 14 weeks and its still sinking in for me!
Xx

Same here. But I really do just want my bump and to feel pregnant at this point. Other than dippy blood pressure it's all been a little too easy haha

Still sinking in for me too loveandpeace even though I've known since the day my period was due and I've had every symptom under the sun! Still a bit shell shocked I think, but in a good way.

Just waiting for this sickness to start to subside now  How are you feeling?

Ts2573 don't wish away the easiness of it so far, enjoy the ride!! Your bump will pop before you know it. Is this your first? It's my second and my bump came so much earlier this time, by about 11 weeks it was hard and round and now I'm massive!

2nd and I know I had a sizeable bump by 16/18 weeks last time.

First day of Trimester 2 eeeekkkkk!

I am astounded that there is a little baby the size of a nectarine inside my tummy!

How is everyone feeling?xx

So exciting Tri 2 already ... After my dating scan on Wednesday my due date has moved to the 4th March if you could please update mine, Thank you X

It's exciting isn't it! I'm also looking at the apparent size of the baby and thinking surely I should be more aware of something that big?!

I'm feeling ok, almost fainted at the till in h&m the other day (low blood pressure!) but generally fine. I have had a few days of painful bloating which was rubbish, fingers crossed that seems to have eased off now though.

Definitely getting bigger but there's no hard bump, just a bigger tummy than I'm used to! Finding it uncomfortable to do my jeans up but no way near big enough to go into maternity trousers...Are you getting a bump yet?

I thought the same, how can I not feel something that size moving yet? Really looking forward to feeling movement in there. I bought a doppler and going to test it out later. I'll not feel too alarmed if I cant hear anything as know it may be difficult to locate depending on position or whatever.

Do you usually have low BP or is it just from pregnancy? It must be quite scary feeling faint in public!

Flip I started to form a bump around 10 weeks and now it's now got harder and slightly bigger so that its fairly obvious, depending on what I am wearing. Im 5' 6' and usually size 10-12 and its my first. Even other people are surprised how big my bump is already for only being 14 weeks. The midwife said not to worry that it will probably stay the same for a while and everyone is different.
I now only have two pairs of jeans that I can use the hairband trick on but it wont be for much longer. Have had to sort my wardrobe as to what fits and what doesnt! Haven't bought any maternity wear yet but may have to. I will have a lot of autumn/winter dresses I can wear so will only need maternity tights for them. I think its great to be pregnant in the colder seasons!
x

I've always had low bp but it's never been an issue, I hadn't realised that it often gets lower during pregnancy though! The midwife says it will probably be at its worst in the second tri, so that's something to look forward to :) It was a bit scary, I suddenly knew that it was going to happen and just had to get out to a bench outside! As I was leaving my peripheral vision and my hearing went completely, so I was lucky not to pass out - fortunately I had an emergency chocolate bar in my bag to help with such emergencies!

How long did your bump take to go hard? At the moment I just look and feel fat I think :) I'm usually size 10 and not used to much of a tummy...It looks a bit like a bump but I suspect if I can press it in with my hand it's just flab from too much chocolate!

Always carry chocolate in case of emergency ha! Yes I heard that about the second trimester, I felt a bit light headed the other day and thought it might be low BP. But just take care if you were prone to it beforehand.

Its only really became properly hard in this past week and I notice its firmer at certain times of the day, after a big lunch and especially at night time. It was firm in the evenings from about week 11! I was near convinced it was twins until the scan proved otherwise.

Are you going to find out the gender?

Hm, hoping mine will start going hard soon!

Undecided on finding out - we have our 20 week scan on the 13th October, so need to decide before then! Husband is quite keen on finding out, on the basis it will make buying clothes / choosing a name easier, but I'm less sure. We're not intending to go pink/blue regardless, and I like the idea of finding out at the birth. But seeing as I have no clue re a name yet we'll see!

What about you?

We still havent announced our pregnancy yet & i`ll be 14 weeks tomorrow, Everything has just been so hetic the last few weeks here so we must make September the month where we tell our family, I`am a little concered by what they may say as my son is almost 9 months old they wont be expecting it X

In the same boat Merry, hubby wants to find out at 20 week scan but I am determined to hold off until the birth. I just think everything is so advanced and predictable in this day and age and having that surprise at the end would be nice, plus I want the Holywood moment. Also i know I would probably spend a fortune on clothes if Imknew whether it was team pink or blue!
We have a girls name chosen that we both love but struggling to agree on a boys name!
