## March 2018 Mummies Tri 1 Thread ##

I've applied twice today and so far it's a million times better, not perfect but better!

And just got my early scan date through for Thursday at 10.45, midwife is booked for 9.30 that day so may have to rebook that unless it's as quick as 30mins hmm! Not sure maybe I'll call her and ask!
Hoping the scan does show something!!! Eeep!

Millie. - that's exciting you have your scan, not long to wait, will you be 7 weeks then??

I just got home to find my midwife appointment, it's a month today! Feels like ages to wait but guess my scan will be quite soon after that as I'll be 10+3 when see the midwife.

Had more pregnancy test in my hand at Tesco but saw sense and put them back!

Hi Girls, just going to slide in! Got an EDD of 17th March! Really suffering with sickness and currently only tolerating fruit juice which doesn't help with feeling tired!
Hope the cream works for the thrush Millie, has your local hospital not got an early pregnancy unit that you could phone for advice, they might be more helpful?

Welcome to the thread RaeRae I've added your date. From your sig looks like your 3rd?? I have a little boy already who was born in 2014.

I'll be 1 day off! 6+6, I feel for sure I'll be pushed back though! With the spotting, the urine infection and now thrush I hope everything is all okay in there. Then with the minor car accident it's felt like a rubbish few days so hope it puts a good end to our week! We're still awaiting news on our rental car so I hope we can get there!!!

That's a while away but at least it won't be a long wait til your scan after :D
LOL noooo don't buy more!! I don't think I even want to touch my last digi!!

Oh how exciting Millie that you have your scan through. I will keep everything crossed for you, you've had a rubbish few days so some good news will be nice for you :-)

Hi everyone,

Very happy to be back here again, EDD 28th March.
I'm a massive worrier usually and it's strange that I feel so excited this time. I had a Miscarriage in 2012 and then had my beautiful daughter in 2013, I think I'm more excited for her as she'll think she's got a real life doll to look after haha. Looking forward to getting to know you all

It is nice to see a few more ladies in here :D

I'm excited for the scan but also very nervous!!!
I've gone back to zero symptoms. Trying to ignore that..

All ok here, struggling so much to keep my eyes open at work at the minute! Got the little twingey pains in my belly too which is quite strange. Very sore boobs too, worse at night???

Hope everyone else is ok x

I'm feeling really quite tired at the moment but my days are pretty busy looking after a 7 month old, Really achey boops & I feel sick alot especially at night X

Sore boobs is about the only real symptom I'm having, need to wear a crop top at night or pretty uncomfy.

Back to work tomorrow absolutely hate my job so going to be a challenge to last until start Mat leave, had day off today so dreading tomorrow. Need to just keep reminding myself of the great maybpay.

One thing I have been thinking about it my commute to work, 3 days a week I cycle, it's 30 min commute each so not to far and mostly flat so not too tiring but bit cautious about cycling on the road as have 2 1 mile stretches in quite heavy traffic. I've seen a couple of ppl who have been kicked off recently, not seriously injured but makes me think there is a risk.

I'm thinking of driving in and starting to do a bit more running at lunchtimes but keep it low intensity.

Had a pack of info from midwives today in post about what not to eat, didn't realise shouldn't be having medium cooked meat and a few other things, never remember getting this much info with my 1st and only 4 years ago!

Have you all had midwife apts then? I'll be 5 weeks on Wednesday and I honestly can't remember when I contacted them last time. I have 8 weeks in my head but I'm sure that's something I've made up

Where I live you dont get a midwife until you reach 20 weeks your expected to see the doctor until then apart from your hospital appointments you can speak to a midwife there X

Summertime I know what your saying there is quite a bit that's changed in a short time, I noticed recently that we shouldn't be having Mr Whippy ice cream, I don't remember seeing that on the list when I had my son recently X

Everywhere seems so different with midwife appointments
I called my doctors and they just booked me straight in with midwife
I was only 5+5 when I met with her last week and I'll be 6+6 when I see her this week to finish off the booking in forms
All seems so early but they made the appointments!

It's being centralised in our area since I had my son, so no you just fill in form at surgery and they fax it to the midwife team then they send booking in apppontment date and after that get the scan. So my booking in at 10 + 4.

We want to have all the screening tests so will need scan by end of 13th week but hopefully not that long.

With my son J didn't find out until until 8 is weeks so everything went really quickly whilst this time need to learn to be patient!!

Didn't know what about whippy ice cream! Had 2 this weekend.

I think the whippy ice cream has been a no go for a while, I remember not being able to have a mcflurry when I was pregnant with my daughter 4 years ago. Something to do with the bacteria in the machines I believe. So it's more a better safe than sorry I think.

I don't remember seeing mr whippy in my booklet, so no mcflurrys either?
Totally don't mind atm though as still gone off sweet things!

Has anyone else lost weight at all?
I was worried to begin with but apparently it can be normal as body is using more calories
I've lost 4lbs :/
Hoping I'll get more of an appetite again soon, the evening meal is the worst as I'm just not hungry at all and just have to eat anyway

I've lost a couple of pounds, But that can only be a good thing for me.
I lost loads with my last pregnancy cause of the sickness, I only put it back on (and more besides) in the 3rd trimester. But then lost it very quickly again after she was born.

I never knew about the ice cream with my last pregnancy so i did have it when i went on holiday but the book says that it may contain Salmonella Bacteria which can cause food poisoning, So we are better off sticking to the scoop ice cream or Ice lolly`s this summer

My weight goes up & down anyway i wouldn't worry too much at this stage
