You can get a coil fitted which acts as emergency contraception and then you're covered for afterwards too. X

This time OH isn't asking me to take MAP he's telling me to just forget about it, I'm freakishly scared a condom has never split before apart from the other day then I take map and it happens again.


Don't think I'm going to take it again I think I'm officially in the tww with a 11 week old and 23 month old. Someone obviously has my life planned out for me. Maybe this was meant to be

If you're already pregnant the MAP won't stop you being pregnant. It will only stop it before the pregnancy happens.

You've got nothing to feel guilty about taking the MAP.

It's standard advice if you have one breakage to get rid of the rest of the batch.

Considering it is your only barrier against pregnancy, surely it's paramount to make sure they're as effective as possible. Were they close to their use-by date at all?

Get the copper coil, it has no hormones in it and won't effect your cycle or any future investigations.

None latex condoms are horrible for braking I've had several split before being put on before!

Tbh I wouldn't have thought of chucking the rest away either - I suppose it could be a batch thing thinking about it but it wouldn't have passed my mind either I would have prob thought it was just the one do that's fantastic advice and if I have one split again (after I have the baby) I will be chucking the whole packet - it's just such a shame they are so expensive isn't it! Lol
