Hiya. I'm new here.
Does the morning after pill delay/affect your periods?
Around the 13th July I took the MAP, few days after I had my period, Happy days!
Now, August, there's no sign of my period. I'm a week late.
Bearing in mind I.had a period after taking the MAP, and I haven't had sex for a month and a half until a couple of days ago, using protection.
Can anyone tell why I haven't had a period yet? Is it due to the MAP?
Please help.

Yes, I think it can affect when your period arrives, it can make it early or late. Not too sure about what it actually does though lol xx

It probably will affect it as it will have altered your hormone levels very suddenly. Was the period after MAP in time? That may well not have been a 'normal' period as the MAP would have preempted things. I would wait and see what happens. I fyou are worried do a test to set your mind at ease, gl

Thank you for replying. I took a test this morning and it was negative. The period I had was a normal period too. I'm gonna.make an appointment for the doctors asap. Xx
